A hotel that pays attention to details is certainly not bad. The overall atmosphere is very soft and warm, which is rare. From the front desk to the cleaning aunt to the restaurant waiters, everyone smiled and took the trouble to answer the questions I asked. Thank you very much. When I went out to do errands, the lady at the front desk took the initiative to call a taxi for me, which was very considerate.

The environment is very good, both indoor and outdoor are very atmospheric! I especially like it ❤️ There is also a Shanghai style set menu when booking, and the taste of the dishes is also very good! The only fly in the ointment is that there are many, many, many ants on the first floor of the room I live in. . . out of the wall.

The location of this homestay is very superior. It is located beside Dianshan Lake. You can ride a bicycle to tour the lake and see the surrounding scenery. It only takes 20 minutes to take a taxi to Zhouzhuang. The service is warm and thoughtful. The manager of the homestay, Mr. Peng, is very friendly and enthusiastic. We have lots of helpful travel advice. Not only took the initiative to help us arrange the itinerary, but also often asked about our needs, making us feel at home; the facilities of the homestay are very complete. The rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with comfortable beds, modern bathroom facilities and complete home appliances. In addition, the decoration of the room is very distinctive, which makes people feel the owner's heart and enthusiasm. The food at the homestay is very local. The chef is a local teacher from Qingpu, and the local dishes cooked are delicious. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable accommodation option at a reasonable price, this homestay is definitely worth a visit.

Others are very satisfied, especially there is a large yard and large lawn, suitable for children to camp. The only dissatisfaction is that the tableware at breakfast is not cleaned, there are a lot of water stains on the plate, and there is a red oil stain on one of the plates. The insecurity is born. I feel that the tableware should not be disinfected at the moment. My husband saw that the breakfast was not eaten. I hope to improve the kitchen hygiene.

I stayed here a few times before the epidemic, and it was the first time I stayed after the epidemic. It still tastes the same as before. The Hema downstairs, which was still being renovated when I lived before, is now open; the Line 14, which was still under construction downstairs, is also connected, and the exit is very close to the hotel. The room is very large, and there are only a few households on each floor. It is very quiet. Since there are mostly long-term tenants, there are simple kitchen utensils, microwaves, ovens, washing machines, refrigerators, and coffee machines. The gym has basic equipment and there are few people. Downstairs is Igo Plaza, a cinema and restaurants. There are all department stores, which basically meet my needs. The only fly in the ointment is that the service life is long and the furniture decoration style is a bit old, but I don't care about these (very cautious about this point). In addition, I would like to give the hotel a small opinion. Other electrical appliances are okay. It would be perfect if the TV can be replaced with a newer model (the current estimate is 20 years ago) All in all, I will stay here again, it is more in line with my needs🤗

We went to Chongming for a holiday with friends. We all liked to live in a homestay. We chose a few and finally decided to live in this Muyangli B&B. It is newly opened in Moroccan style. I like this exotic holiday homestay. The homestay is fully equipped, you can cook your own meals. There is swimming in the yard. Yesterday, it was very hot and the children were happy to go down to play in the water. There is also a rest area in the yard where everyone is very comfortable to drink tea and chat. The homestay is very popular. We all like to take pictures and take a lot of beautiful photos. We are happy. The owner of the homestay is also very enthusiastic, thinking very attentively, and the children also have exclusive toothbrushes and small slippers. The room is also very good, although it is newly opened and there is no taste, different styles, the children in LOFT like it very much. In short, I am very happy and have had a good weekend. I want to live here next time I come to Chongming.

GGuest User 2024.03.17
The attitude at the front desk of Longbai is the worst I have ever seen. Ms. Chen, who wore gold-rimmed glasses and had long hair on her temples, did not use a single polite word during the whole process. Hand her the room card, say ”hmm” without raising your head, ask her for the parking ticket, throw a mobile phone to me, ”scan it yourself”, scan it yourself sister! Then he answered the phone on his own, so what? Will everyone follow up? By default everyone knows your parking ticket collection system? Even if you are the wife of a hotel owner, you are not so cold. Ask questions and answer questions, your attitude is quite rich. There are no service-specific words such as hello, goodbye, thank you, welcome to come again next time. It's so noble. I couldn't help but ask her what your last name was. She looked up at me and said, ”surname is Chen”, OK. Look at me for the first time! Look at what I'm doing, you don't know what I'm going to do? I give a negative review. I say hello to you, I say thank you, I am here to serve you, you are awesome! The facade of Longbai Hotel haha.

During the New Year's Day holiday, I took my children to the nearby Car Park and Zhujiajiao. The location of this Lotus Hotel is very convenient. We stayed in Santiao and got a free room upgrade. The room is quite large, the air conditioning is super powerful, and the bathroom experience is also very good, especially In terms of service, I have to give a thumbs up to the waiter Lu Yan, who gave us a very warm feeling. On the last day, our child had a fever, and she also gave us a lot of help and advice. Personally, I feel that the overall experience is better than most 5-star hotels where I stay on business trips. The breakfast is definitely in line with the standards of a high-end hotel. The variety is relatively rich and the taste is quite good. If I come here again in the future, I will choose this hotel again!

GGuest UserOne of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Service was 10/10. All the staff were super friendly & helpful from the bellboy, receptionists, housekeeping, maintenance person. Breakfast was great, staff even allowed us to takeaway when one of us couldn't go down for breakfast. Free usage of the laundry room. Once we couldn't get a taxi when we were out of the hotel, I texted one of the staff to assist and he was super helpful. Special thanks to Mr Edward & Mr Chao for your excellent service. There is a small shopping mall right across the bridge that has nice restaurants with reasonable prices and delicious food. The train station is quite a distance so I had to take taxis to go places since it's winter & pretty cold. The staff doesn't speak English so be prepared if you don't speak Chinese. It was a memorable first visit to Shanghai.

Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool, it was big and clean. The food choices are all yummy. All the staff, especially the Filipino staff are all accommodating and very gracious. Overall, it's a staycation worth visiting again very soon.

SStevenBvlgari Unable to travel over the festive season, I decided to treat myself to a few days in a local hotel. What other choice was there, other than the Bvlgari? Prior to my arrival I received a call from the hotel. They confirmed my arrival time, made dinner reservations for me, added me to WeChat and offered me any other help that I required. Upon arrival I was greeted by Eva. She checked me in and immediately offered me a late check out time of 14:00. This was extended further on the final day to 16:00. Fantastic! More time to relax by the pool and in the sauna. Having checked me in, Eva gave me a tour of the property. The Bvlgari is stunning! From the stylish restoration of the Chamber of Commerce building to the sleek, modern interior of the main building. The Bvlgari is located in an excellent position by Suzhou Creek. It offers dazzling views of Lujiazui , the Huangpu River and the rear of The Bund. Perhaps one of the best views in the city. Of course, the room was magnificent. Huge TV, super comfortable bed, walk-in wardrobe and a wide selection of drinks and snacks, most of which were complimentary. I especially thought the pillow mist was a nice touch. In addition to the welcome snacks, Eva brought me a desert from their little cabin outside. A delicious Italian, vanilla donut- like desert. Good job I didn’t have lunch that day. I dined at both the Italian and Chinese restaurants. Both of which offer amazing food. The Italian presents simplistic fare with the emphasis on fresh ingredients. The vegetable broth and specialty bread is to die for. The Chinese restaurant offers high quality Cantonese food and an alternative wine selection to that in the main building. The sommelier suggested a great wine pairing for the meal and also provided a complimentary glass of champagne and a coffee liqueur before escorting back to the hotel. Le Mer products are used in the spa! Yes, this is fantastic. My therapist, Daisy, had me in the state of being between consciousness and unconsciousness many times during the course of my treatment. Just what I was looking for. The staff at the Bvlgari are excellent. Young, professional and obviously well trained, evident through their subject knowledge and warm hearted service. All the staff consistently addressed me by name and ensured that my stay was perfect. Whilst at the bar, one of the girls presumed I was asking for the bill, when actually I was asking for another drink. I left to visit the WC and returned to find a note apologizing for her misunderstanding of English accompanying a complimentary desert with my drink. That was amazing! Thank you, Elsker. It’s often the small things that make a difference. Whilst walking to my room one of the room attendants was vacuuming the carpet. She abruptly stopped and waited for me to pass. Whilst at the pool, I headed towards the jacuzzi. Some of the staff appeared to be fixing or checking something, but they swiftly disappeared as I emerged. Upon checkout, Eva was waiting for me with a gift bag containing chocolates. This was in addition to the luggage tags and toiletries that were gifted by the turn down service the previous night. Eva called me a car to take me home. Whilst I waited she filled my gift bag with sweets from the huge jars of confectionery in the lobby. As the doorman approached to let me know my car had arrived, he also presented a small gift of Bvlgari toiletry products. What an amazing experience.! Truly remarkable. I will definitely return and I’ll be adding locations in Paris, London, Bali and Milan to my list of places to visit. Thank you to the entire Bvlgari team. From those excellent customer facing members of staff to those who are behind the scenes and make things run so well. You all do a fantastic job and I wish you all the greatest success on the future. If you get a chance, visit the Bvlgari.

RRainFacilities and room: Moonlo truly lives up to its name to being one of the most instagrammable hotel. The ambiance is as depicted on the site. The tea layout probably came about as the lady boss came from the tea industry before venturing into the hospitality industry. The entire ground is clean and nice. The bed is comfortable. The pillows are nice (One more spongy, one more puffy) Downside is the lighting. There is a switch in the room that shut all lights off to complete darkness. So it might be too dark for some (like the elderly and some children) while too bright for some (like myself ). Would be a plus if they could install some night lights. Being a foreigner, I’m not quite sure how the TV works but it seems there is no signal for the local TV but some episodes on the app based system… so regarding in room entertainment, you might want to consider other options. Service: Throughout my two nights staying at the hotel, the friendliest person would be the lady boss, Miss Yang, who is always there to greet you and meet your needs in the morning. She also recommended some of the must try rides for Disney when we told her we are heading there. The other person that I felt was warm enough to make me feel welcomed yet not too much such that I get deterred (I tend to get deterred if a stranger is too welcoming) was the male reception staff who also drove us back from Disney in the hotel car. (Sorry I didn’t get his name) Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. The wantons are the best and is a must try. The fried noodles (thin kway teow - based on a Singaporean experience) was nice. And I also enjoyed the cakes made for day 2’s breakfast. Location: The hotel is located in a small neighbourhood, a part of a mini mall, with supermarkets nearby ( buy your raincoats there before playing the rapids in Disney). You can also find Lawson , Watson and Starbucks in walking distance. There are also eateries around of different price ranges. Burger King is immediately outside the hotel. Otherwise you can also call for delivery if you’re just too tired to get out. The staff will let the delivery man deliver the food to the room based on your request. It’s an ideal location for Disney if you are looking for a cost saving hotel. Others: When I first booked the place, I didn’t include breakfast/ booked only the room. For that package, they do not offer shuttle to Disney or airport. Based on my understanding ( if I didn’t get the staff wrong) the shuttle to and fro would cost CNY50. Thankfully I do have the option to change to the option with breakfast as I have not past the modification allowance in the the app booking so I changed my package and got the shuttle rides for free ( included).

PPatelLocation is pretty remote-difficult to get around the area without a car as no bikes available in this region of the island. The resort itself was fantastic but only one gate was available to leave which made it awkward, food is very expensive in the restaurant and activities were limited at this time of the year. On the plus side, breakfast was excellent, the walkways within the resort were awesome and hotel shuttle service to get around the resort is great too. Great resort for families and especially if you have a car! I would stay again, but probably get a driving license first 😂.

RRichterWe had a wonderful stay here at Hotel Equatorial Shanghai. Hotel is easily accessible from Jing'an temple metro station. The beautiful Jing'an Sculpture park is very close. Great location in a beautiful area for shopping and food or for leisurely walking . We found many great restaurants in the nearby area. And being so close to the subway puts the entire city at your doorstep. Hotel rooms are of a classic design. Solid walls ensured great sleep with no disturbances. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel staff are enthusiastic and very helpful when we had questions. A special recognition and thanks to the master chefs and staff in the kitchen. The breakfast buffet here is amazing and not to be missed! Everyday was delicious. Highly recommend! (and keep an eye out for the hotel robot that you will see gliding around and even taking the elevators!) :-)

LLea PajarilloWhat we love - its central location, cleanliness, a lot of food choices during breakfast buffet, heated pool. We just had some concerns during booking and check in, it was not indicated that our room has no windows but the reception just gave us this room without windows. Due to winter, temperature control cannot be changed so it tends to be very warm.

What travellers say about Shanghai attractions

Discover these places worth visiting in Shanghai and select a hotel nearby for added convenience
The Bund
Xxiaoxueeeenice view, stunning building, golden hour. a lot of people on the weekend, you may travel during weekday to avoid the crowd. a lot of shop lots to buy souvenir
Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
路远且遥Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street during the day is completely different from the night. During the day, you see architecture and at night you see lights. Nanjing Road at night gives people a sense of paper drunkenness, retro and romantic. The whole street is not long, from West Street to East Street about 800 meters, the famous Cailan, Peace Hotel are here, to the end is the Bund.
Lujiazui
Iivonne8a93just by going to Lujiazui you get to see the most incredible views in Shanghai! besides the famous Oriental Pearl you can also check out the other 3 iconic building in this financial district of the city. It’s breathtaking both day and night.
Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower
OOndrej CestrThe QR code I received worked fine, you just scan it inside at the gate and you’ll be let in smoothly. No pickup or visit to the ticket office needed.
People's Square
AAdnilIt was a relaxing afternoon I went with my family in a not so cold winter day. lol… the weather is super nice with a bit of fog. People seemed very happy and peaceful walking and talking. There is a church there which seems quite famous for photo taking. Lots nice food around the place. 😋😋
Yu Garden
NNing梁家宁I just have to go early. At 4:30, I will rush people to clear the field. The time is still too tight for the private garden that needs detailed products. There will be many people taking pictures in it. In addition, there are really many foreigners in Shanghai.
Jing'an Temple
MM29***40Jing'an Temple is very lively today. There is a high song sound opposite Jing'an Temple, the lights on the second side of the street flashing, plus Jin Xuhui of Jing'an Temple 𤾗, which brings a lot of popularity to Jing'an Temple. You can go and see the night view during the holiday.
Shanghai Natural History Museum
HHarpjaceyThe Shanghai Natural History Museum is truly a gem for anyone interested in the wonders of the natural world. Its impressive collection covers everything from ancient fossils to intricate ecosystems, captivating visitors of all ages. What sets it apart is its interactive exhibits, which make learning a hands-on and engaging experience. The museum's modern design and top-notch facilities create a seamless blend of education and entertainment. Whether you're admiring dinosaur skeletons or immersing yourself in lifelike habitats, every corner offers something fascinating to explore. In short, the Shanghai Natural History Museum is a must-see destination that leaves you with a newfound appreciation for our planet's beauty and complexity.
Xintiandi
走遍天下XZShanghai's various buildings are the brightest scenery in Shanghai, whether it is to visit the Bund, visit Nanjing Road, or Xujiahui, Lujiazui, to a large extent are admiring their surrounding buildings. Shanghai's buildings can be divided into three major categories, the first is the elephant Wanguo complex, three-piece suite, Suzhou River warehouse group, Yong'an Qianshu, Catholic Church and other super large buildings; the second is the elephant Julu Garden, Sinan Mansion, Xiangzhang Garden and so on. The third is the classic building full of life. In the three types, the most grounded and most in line with the old Shanghai style may have to be Shikumen. Visiting Shikumen in Shanghai, it is not easy to find the right place in too many choices. It has not been remodeled. There are a large number of Aboriginal people living. Although the life is strong, the environment is really too low. The recent renovation is too new, like a mold carved out. It is more suitable for this near Xintiandi. The overall transformation has been done for many years, but the maintenance management is done very well, and the surrounding residents are actively cooperating, and it feels very good.
Shanghai City God Temple Tourist Area
LLonny_kshopping area in the old city of Shanghai. many tourists combine the visit with a Yu Garden tour so the area is always packed with people. it’s cool to check out the area once but probably not again due to how busy it is
