Great location on the bund near by the subway line 2 and 14, the rooms were not cleaned perfectly, the mirror had fingers prints. Bed were comfortable and bathrooms big but the shower cabine was old In general good but could be way better. Staff could speak very basic English. Jade 36 restaurant service was not good as we expect and also the food no choices. Only the new year set menu and some dishes that mostly I don’s usually eat. I used to eat in Italy and to my opinion We paid a lot. Breakfast was heaven very good

Had a very pleasant stay at Jiang’an Shagri-la. The room decors are a bit dated but service is superb. A special compliment must be given to Alex at the Concierge. He is friendly, proactive and willing to take extra steps to help the hotel guests, from recommending restaurants to arranging transportation. He is a 5-star employee for this 5-star hotel. Will return to this hotel in our next visit just because of this remarkable hospitality from the staff.

The services were good, they gave me a free room upgrade and we all very well mannered. However the was a peculiar smell coming from the sinks in the room I was upgraded to. I ordered room service and the room service was reasonably priced and so good I had to get another order. However the second burger I ordered took an hour to arrive.
