Hotels Near Shanghaizhongyiyao Museum in Shanghai

My daughter is taking the college entrance exam at Huaer University. She booked a Zhongxing Hetai Suite. I thought it would be very messy when there were many high school students checking in, but I didn't expect it to be handled very quickly. The front desk and room service were very good. The room was very clean, the air conditioning was sufficient, the curtains were automatic, and an extra quilt was delivered in a timely manner. The overall feeling was very good. In the evening, they also sent welcome fruit and milk, as well as a card wishing the candidates.

The room is large and relatively quiet. There is a laundry room and gym on the ninth floor, which is very convenient. Luckin Coffee is downstairs. The front desk staff is also very nice and it is very convenient to issue invoices.

The takeaway was ordered but could not be delivered, and the front desk did not provide the corresponding service. The main reason was that I suddenly had a fever and was sick, and the front desk asked me to go down to get it. At 9 o'clock in the morning, an aunt knocked on the door and said that she was cleaning and hoped to delay the check-out to 2 o'clock. The front desk was very tough and said that it could only be until 1 o'clock at most. The location is remote and the service is almost non-existent.

Atour Hotel is very warm and feels like home. The decoration style gives people a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast is rich and the location is convenient.

The room is clean and the night is very quiet; the attitude of the customer service is very good, the breakfast is more simulated, and the taste is better. There are shared bicycles in the area, and it is more convenient to go anywhere.

The staff there were amazing. Operators could speak English and they were able to help with any issues. I went there in winter, and while the weather (outside) was in the negatives; the central heating ensured that I was nice and cozy The area had a lot of businesses nearby (again, not easy to navigate during winter) Definitely recommended for a short-stay when in Shanghai

Facilities: There was a loud splashing sound in the room every day, which was so loud that it could wake people up from their sleep. There was also a sound of unlocking the door in the middle of the night. It wasn't our room that was unlocked, but around 1 or 2 in the morning. I stayed there for two days because I went to Disneyland. There were loud water sounds and crackling sounds in the room for two days. It really disturbed my sleep for the whole night. Oh 😑

Another stay here. A simple, no frills hotel for a good price. I love the location with two plazas within walking distance and the metro station about a 6 minute walk. Very convenient for getting to anywhere in the city on Line 9. This is the first time I checked the television and was a bit sad that there was only one English channel. Though this was not a big deal for me as I was only in the room to sleep. I like to book a room on the south side of the hotel as there is an open view looking over a school field. However, if you stay on a weekday, I am told the school has announcements early in the morning, so a room on the north side might be better for Sunday night to Thursday night. Check in was fast again and I was in my room within about 5 minutes. While I was very comfortable in my room, I did notice that the walls were getting a bit worn. There was also something on the walls that looked like dust, but I hope it wasn't mold. It seems they might need to think about doing some simple renovations. The height adjustment for the shower was also broken so it wanted to fall. I should have mentioned this to the front desk but I forgot. Overall, another nice stay but they may need to plan some simple renovations like painting the walls and checking the fixtures in the rooms.

It is about 5 minutes away from Kangxin Highway Subway Station, which is very convenient. Outside the community, there is a snack street with good food and drinks. The facilities in the room are complete, the layout is warm and comfortable, and the host is responsive to all requests. Much more cost-effective than staying in a hotel, highly recommended.
