The customer service was excellent and there is a very nice breakfast buffet. The location is a little far from most things, but it is easy and inexpensive to get a taxi. There is a McDonald's, Sam's Club deli, and a Starbucks right next door. The room was very spacious, clean, and well stocked. The front desk staff was extremely helpful with everything from getting a taxi to ordering food. It's very good value for the money.

Because I couldn't sleep well, I specifically asked the front desk to arrange a quiet room, but they gave me a room next to the road. What's even more unacceptable is that there is smoke everywhere, except in the guest room. You can smell smoke everywhere, including the lobby, restaurant, corridor, elevator, etc. There are cigarette butts in the guest elevator, and someone is smoking openly in the lobby (I decided not to upload photos because of my portrait rights). Shanghai is an international metropolis, and the government has laws and regulations strictly prohibiting smoking. Why is no one in the hotel taking care of this? !
