I stayed at Jinjiang Metropolis Changxing Island Store. The breakfast was very rich and the room was very clean and comfortable. I went to the first beach of the Yangtze River. It was a very comfortable hotel. It turned out that Changxing Island was called Yawosha before. I will come to check in next time.

Very nice place to stays in Shanghai! The location is very excellent. The room is very clean and tidy. *forgot to capture the room’s photo however the room is very spacious and have a working desk. Worth recommending.

Beside the very kind guy who checked me in on my arrival (unfortunately I don’t know his name) and the lovely Ayi taking care of the 8th floor, the staff is overall quite not professional and not exactly what I would describe friendly. Pity because the hotel itself has been a surprise, well located, well designed and well maintained. Quality of the decorations are “entry level” I would say but the overall design is anyway well done, comfy and pleasant. Breakfast, Chinese style, is quite poor in terms of quality and options. Good option for its price-point but I would definitely consider some extra training for the staff….and maybe a bit newer soundproofing windows in the rooms.

I was captivated by the art deco-style paintings, furniture, and fixtures; it felt like stepping into the world of Jeeves and Wooster or a Christie murder novel. Such elegance seems overlooked by the new money in town, seeking overpriced, soulless skyscrapers. Yet, the service was exceptional, and breakfast was delightful. It was heartwarming to see concierges carrying luggage to taxis and bellhops offering elevator assistance, embodying the charm of the 1920s in every detail. The location was ideal, perfectly situated for the visa office and a fantastic Michelin-starred restaurant just across the street, hidden among the enchanting old streets of Shanghai.

Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel is in a great location, with convenient transportation around, clean and tidy environment, friendly service attitude and quick response from Xiao Wu at the front desk, complete room facilities, comfortable bedding, soft and hard pillows, rich breakfast variety, which can meet basic taste needs. In addition, the hotel also has a small robot to deliver takeaway to the door of the room, which is very convenient. I will choose to stay here again if I need it on my next business trip! Stayed here for 5 nights, and decided to extend for one more night ! This hotel far exceeded my expectations - It’s literally right next to Exit 3 of the Ning Guo Lu Metro Station. The place is very clean and well maintained, and service was prompt and they were always very accommodating. The breakfast spread is extensive and there’s a good spread to choose from (croissants, cakes, local etc). While the gym is a little small, the laundry room is very well equipped and easy to use. Will definitely come back to stay here again 👍🏻
