Good choice. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the 12th subway station. The room is not big, but there are some. Is there a little less sanitary cleaning staff? The room is clean and spacious (deluxe double room). The staffs are nice. While as it’s a hotel mostly for the locals, the location is quite far away from downtown and le bund. The breakfast is ok, however, no one really lined up for the meal, foods are grabbed fast from the plates, and your seat will be taken anytime. Better go for breakfast earlier when there are not so many people. Overall, it's still nice to stay for few nights with families :) It can be a nice choice for the last minute hotel reservation for your trip.

I booked other hotels when I traveled to Shanghai, but the effect was too bad. They were small, shabby, and poor. Then I changed to this hotel. The environment was really good and warm, the service attitude was also very good, the aunties who cleaned the room were very enthusiastic, and the price was very affordable. Families, if you want to stay cheap when you come to Shanghai, you must stay here. I stayed in the double room 8236. The double rooms were fully booked on May Day.

The staff here are very friendly, but I think the biggest difficulty is communicating with them in English. However, they made a great effort to understand our requests. The service is perfect, the breakfast is decent, and the room is clean with a beautiful view. I'm in a good mood, so I'll comment on it. I took my child to the nearby Xinhua Hospital for a check-up. At first, I was a little hesitant when I saw some individual reviews on the Internet, but in order to be close to this place and there were really no other hotels I liked, I decided to stay here. I was very satisfied after checking in. The melodious piano background music in the lobby was very pleasant, and I liked the feeling. The front desk was very friendly, and there was a faint fragrance in the corridor on the floor, as if I had tasted it somewhere before. A portion of fruit was still comforting. The guest room was clean and tidy. Although the style was indeed old Chinese, it looked steady and down-to-earth. I, who likes to explore the ancient town, really studied the furniture and decoration wood carefully. The solid wood is by no means comparable to the veneer finishes in those new stores now! The bedding is good 👍 two words ”comfortable”, and the sound insulation is also very good. I experienced the robot delivery, and my takeaway went directly to the room, which was really convenient. In the evening, the room attendant sent snacks and milk, which was very considerate. The breakfast was very rich, with the favorite wontons and grain harvest. It is also very convenient to walk to Xinhua Hospital. The weather is fine, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk there. Everything went smoothly and everything was fine!

The stay there was good. They are very flexible and allowed us to check in early even though we reached there at 8+am. We can wash clothes and it has dryer too. The staffs there were excellent especially the cleaner auntie, 周大姐. She was super caring towards us during our stay. Also, there is a mall just beside the apartment which is a plus point. Metro station is about 10mins walk from the apartment. Not a fan of the bathroom door as it is slightly see through. May not be suitable if you are uncomfortable with this. Also, 1 of the room that we stayed in was very stuffy on certain days even though we already open the window. Whereas the other room at the opposite was very cooling throughout our stay. Not sure is it because of the direction of the wind or what. But overall, me and my friends are very happy with our stay there!

Another stay here. A simple, no frills hotel for a good price. I love the location with two plazas within walking distance and the metro station about a 6 minute walk. Very convenient for getting to anywhere in the city on Line 9. This is the first time I checked the television and was a bit sad that there was only one English channel. Though this was not a big deal for me as I was only in the room to sleep. I like to book a room on the south side of the hotel as there is an open view looking over a school field. However, if you stay on a weekday, I am told the school has announcements early in the morning, so a room on the north side might be better for Sunday night to Thursday night. Check in was fast again and I was in my room within about 5 minutes. While I was very comfortable in my room, I did notice that the walls were getting a bit worn. There was also something on the walls that looked like dust, but I hope it wasn't mold. It seems they might need to think about doing some simple renovations. The height adjustment for the shower was also broken so it wanted to fall. I should have mentioned this to the front desk but I forgot. Overall, another nice stay but they may need to plan some simple renovations like painting the walls and checking the fixtures in the rooms.

Great stay at a great hotel. Was thankful to get an upgrade. Front desk was super helpful and accommodating. I left too early to try breakfast but will stay here again.

Everything is good except the cleanliness which should be better. Near a lot of eatery and convenient stores, about 5-minute walk to the metro. 15-minute walk to The Bund and Nanjing Road.
