Jinjiang Hotels in Shanghai

The Park Hotel has been a Shanghai landmark for 90 years now and is still going strong. I appreciate the convenience of being in the city center and having at least three metro lines in front of the hotel (People’s Square station) as traffic can be bad but the metro runs reliably and on time. Their breakfast starts a bit late at 7:00am for appointments further away but it is good and with lots of choices both Chinese and Western. The historic decor is a plus in my opinion and their afternoon tea is quite lovely and, depending on your business partner and the situation, can be a good choice for a meeting in a relaxed atmosphere.

I had a great stay at The Golden Tulip. The first I was given had a really foul smell, extremely stuffed and moldy but I went down to the concierge and asked for a room switch. Which they did give me and the next one smelt okay. The service was good. Room was okay for the price considering it’s in Shanghai and it’s not too far from The Bund area. Around 20 mins by car could be more depending on the traffic. I’d definitely stay here again! This was my second time actually but it was even way better a few years ago.

The location is excellent that the nearest subway station is just in front of the hotel, nearby by also the famous Huai Hai Lu. Lots of shops & eateries. I also like the hotel's swimming pool; it's clean & warm & well kept.

Good: The location is the best with valuable price! Easy to go shopping. The room was big enough to had our own space to unpacked and left it there for the whole trip. It was also very quiet! Not any noise into my room even we stayed during the typhoon time. Inside the hotel was very quiet as well. The tea pot set in the cafe of the hotel was good. Suitable for relaxing while there was typhoon out there. Need Improving: The room had a smell of smoke even it was a non-smoking room which my friends' room did not had that smell. Also the bathtub's drain was not in good condition. I took shower with the feeling that it would be fulled be for I finish my showering or not.

It was live-able and very spacious. Close to a lot of stores and restaurants should you want to do shopping. As for the alcoholic beverage lovers, it is right up your alley with tons of bars in the vicinity. However, there was somewhat an off setting odor of smoke. I could hear some noise from the room next door. Note that the mini bar in the room is an additional fee upon usage.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to Sun Moon Light and Tianzifang. I am very satisfied with the work of the hotel's front desk, corridor cleaning aunt and other service staff.

This is my second time to CITIC Pacific Zhujiajiao Jinjiang Hotel. The last time I came here for dinner with relatives, and I was attracted by the environment of the hotel and the delicious food in the Chinese restaurant. This time, my family decided on Saturday night to go to Zhujiajiao the next day, and booked a room at this hotel overnight. After visiting Kezhi Garden, Hexin Garden and Helong Art Museum in Zhujiajiao, I checked in at the hotel at 2:30 pm. Guests can park for free in the underground garage. Probably because it was Sunday, the parking lot was relatively empty. When checking in, a man at the front desk upgraded our room type for free, and I couldn't help but feel happy. Then a waiter named Li Jingshen Jackson led us from the front desk to the room, and the service attitude was super good! After entering the room, it was another big surprise. It turned out that the upgraded room was a lake view suite with a balcony facing the lake directly. The room type was 80 to 90 square meters, the living room and bedroom were large, and there were two bathrooms. The temperature in the afternoon was relatively suitable, and it was very comfortable to sit on the balcony. In the evening, we went to Yilinxuan Chinese Restaurant for dinner. We ordered four-season roasted gluten, sugar lotus root, river shrimp (fried with soy sauce), farm cabbage and egg dumplings, and braised wild rice stem in oil. The family thought it was delicious. The manager and waiter in the restaurant that night were very nice and introduced us to the cooking methods of local dishes. The hotel was very quiet at night and the family had a good rest. The breakfast at the hotel the next day was quite rich. It might be because it was a weekday and there were not many people. The front desk staff was still very enthusiastic when checking out. Our family was very satisfied with this trip to Zhujiajiao. In addition to the beautiful scenery of the ancient town, the most important thing was that the hotel's beautiful environment, enthusiastic attitude, professional service and delicious meals left a deep impression on us. Next time you come to Zhujiajiao, CITIC Pacific Zhujiajiao Jinjiang Hotel is the best choice!

The hotel is due for a refresh. The furniture is so old and outdated. The phone is spoilt and you can't dial to the reception. The toilet bowl doesn't flush well.. its so weak and you will be worried that your deliveries won't be flushed.. it make me so stress out. But the reception service is wonderful especially the lady reception. She is very professional and doesn't allow some uncivilised lady to cut queue to check out. Thank you so much.

Facilities: The bathtub in one room was not hot. It is very convenient to the city beach and Jinshanzui fishing village, which can be reached in 10-15 minutes by car. There is Jinshan Wanda nearby, and shopping and dining are also convenient.
