Dexin Hotel (Shanghai South Railway Station Shilong Road)

Insult, disgust and **** are not enough strong to describe the place. We arrived at 12 pm and the recepcion was already a bit strange. The floor was dirty, and there were many insects around. The receptionist brought us to the room.  the lift was dusty and full of stains on the walls. The corridor had strange dusty and stained rugs on the floor. When we arrived, the door of our room was open and we could not believe our eyes when we stepped into it. Hair on the floor, walls with stains, bugs. The toilet floor was muddy, there was a single open window facing the corridor with people going back-and-forth. The pillow smelled bad, as if someone else had left his breath the whole night and it hadn’t been washed. I decided to charge my telephone because we have arrived late and laid for 10 minutes on the bed. My friend decided that he could not bear that place and went out. I went out behind him after a while. I saw people going around the corridor from my bed and I started feeling a bit afraid of being alone. We told the receptionist our situation and she said that she was not going to give us any refund nor bring us to a better room because I had laid on the bed for literally ten minutes and the bed sheets had been used. I didn’t even took out the duvet cover. You’re going to see the pictures. Judge by yourself if the punishment she gave us is reasonable with the state of the place. She aggressively told us she had pictures of the bed being A BIT messy (as messy as a person lying on them for five minutes can leave them) and treated as as if we were dumb. So, basically, that girl instead of giving us any answer left us both on the street at 1 am not having anywhere to spend the night at. First of all, we would like to have a refund of the money we paid and then advise everybody not to spend a single penny there. Trip app should take it out of its options.

Do ever book this hotel it’s terrible hotel very small room … stinky place first hotel in china which very dirty AC was not working properly I suggest trip to remove them from your platform
