The staff are very friendly and tried to support us as much as possible. I visited with my husband and 11 month old baby. Nice grounds with pond and garden area. The games room was used everyday however you need to pay to use the KTV / multimedia room. Room lights, curtains, and air conditioning all controlled via an app on WeChat. The room was also cold in October and I couldn’t control the air conditioning with the app. Reception was helpful to do this but could only set to one temperature. Unfortunately it then became too hot for my baby and was hard to control on the app. The neighbouring room’s front door was too squeaky, waking up my son during sleep. The room was very dusty, visibly on the chandelier and curtains and most importantly it affected our sinus. My husband couldn’t stop sneezing, had a runny nose, and ended up with a nosebleed! This was unusual for him so I’d absolutely recommend a deep clean. There was no air filter available to help. We were kindly provided with a great baby bed/cot however the hotel does not provide linen. We used 2 pillow cases and a towel underneath instead. The swimming pool is seasonal which we didn’t know before coming so we didn’t unpack our swimming gear. Breakfast is good if you like Chinese style cuisine. The staff were very attentive to our needs and requests. There is 1 baby high chair. Get a double room instead of king, double is bigger and you get a table with chairs. We easily slid the beds together to make room for the baby bed/cot. King room only has 1 chair and less space in the room and bathroom. Our baby enjoyed the extra space for movement. No walk-in dinner service was available at the restaurant, it seemed complicated to request meals ahead of time so we went elsewhere. Top tips: get the reception WeChat and if you can afford it rent a car.

Hotel staff and service were great. Rooms are big, spacious and clean. Taxis aren’t readily available as the hotel is a little out of the way. Dinner was nice and reasonably priced along with breakfast.

This is an exquisite B&B located in a rural village. The bedding in the room is very comfortable, comparable to a four- or five-star hotel. The garden view and water view Koi are the characteristics. The staff is very nice. The Chongming cuisine for dinner is delicious. It is recommended to eat in the B&B. The restaurant in the town is too simple. The only flaw is the breakfast.

Very good B&B hotel, with the freedom and intimacy of B&B and the cleanliness and standardization of hotel, making the vacation of a group of 14 people very perfect. Highlights: 1. The room is large, clean and tidy, with modern facilities; 2. The entertainment area and guest room are divided into zones, so you can play as much as you want without worrying about affecting other guests' rest; the entertainment facilities are complete, including billiards, table tennis, karaoke, mahjong, slides... everything is available to meet the needs of the old, middle-aged and young; 3. The breakfast is very good. The nine-square breakfast may not look much, but the quantity is not small, nutritious and healthy, and you can eat very full; 4. The swimming pool is large and clean, which is not available in general B&Bs. 5. The service is very good, all the staff are very friendly and warm, and the little brother is not impatient at all when playing until the early morning, and cleans carefully. The most enjoyable time, I will recommend it to my friends.

Although it rained heavily during this stay, the elegant scenery of the hotel has a different flavor. The owner is warm and thoughtful, the hardware facilities are complete, and the dishes are unique and delicious. It was a perfect stay.

Facilities: Very complete, the accommodation area and the recreation area are separated, the recreation area is very rich, there are swimming pools, billiards, table tennis, and a cinema. There is also a chess and card room for those who don't want to go out on vacation. Hygiene: The room is very clean, unlike some homestays that smell as soon as you enter the door. The toilet is very clean, and the toiletries are of good quality and complete. Environment: It occupies a very large area! There is a garden and a place for fitness and morning exercises. You can see it from my pictures. Service: The boss and the boss lady are very enthusiastic, responsive to every request, and everything is settled.

The hotel is very beautiful, with small bridges and flowing water, and many koi. There is a swimming pool, but I didn't go there because I didn't bring a swimsuit. The room and restaurant are very clean, and the food is very good. I ate so much! It's worth staying.

The room is big and clean, and there are three cute dogs. Chongming tourism can be chosen, the price is quite reasonable. We stayed for 3 consecutive nights and needed to drive to travel nearby.

I always stay here when I go to Chongming for a long vacation. The room is large and clean, the environment is elegant, and the WeChat account is left so that there is no barrier to communication. Everything can be arranged in an orderly manner. I played too late the night before and couldn't get up the next day. The lady boss thoughtfully packed breakfast and sent it to the room. It is definitely worth recommending.

Unexpectedly, it was pretty good. We were the only family there that day, and we reserved the entire swimming pool. We had a lot of fun. Their swimming pool is sloped, which is great. There are no steps, so you won't bump your feet. You can play at any depth. I'll go there again next time.

A very bad trip experience. I originally wanted to have a better experience at a B&B during the New Year. I didn't expect to enter a rural intersection when driving there, and there were no signs. I took two wrong intersections to find this place. After entering, there was only one middle-aged man and woman in the reception center. When I checked in, I was told to upgrade the room. When I took it to the room, I found it was very damp. The toilet wipes felt very damp. I originally wanted to watch the New Year's Eve party, but the TV turned on for an hour and there was no response, so I had to watch the show with my husband. When I took a shower around 12 o'clock, I was horrified to find that the hot water was not hot at all. In such a cold winter, I couldn't even take a hot bath. No, it was too expensive. The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. I called the front desk, but the phone was off the hook and no one answered. There are spider webs on the room lights, so it looks like few people are staying there. The billiards table downstairs in the restaurant was too rough and uneven. The balls often flew out. It was too crowded and the pole couldn't be straightened. I had to play for a while and ended. The table tennis table was welded by someone without any money, so it was rickety. The bedside clock is still broken and doesn't keep time. I really don’t understand. Is it possible for a B&B to deceive customers about their feelings and experiences like this? I will never come here again even to my death. I just want to share this in the hope that everyone will not be fooled again.

The room is clean and tidy, the service is first-class, the environment is elegant, comfortable and quiet. It is a good courtyard-style hotel. Next time I have the opportunity to go to Chongming, I will definitely go to this Ruyan Hotel again.
