A wonderful second stay at this gorgeous boutique hotel! It's my new favourite place in the city. The service is amazing, the rooms are lovely and clean, and it's in an amazing location. Very comfortable beds and lovely little touches in the room (fruit, sandalwood soap etc). It was perfect for Christmas weekend.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It has a classic style. It’s also located conveniently near a street of chic restaurants and shops. Just a little farther is a major mall. The stay was very comfortable.

Nice location with many good restaurants there. The room is big and clean. The soundproof also very good. Worth to stay here!

Excellent option in a great location in Jing'An district Shanghai. Rooms are very elegant and spacious and the welcome gift is always appreciated. There are good restaurants nearby with the nearest subway station a bit farther (10 minute walk). Would definitely stay here again.

Charming old Shanghai experience. Quality of the amenities and awesome position of the hotel. The front desk lady was however quite rude and unpleasant while giving us information at check-in. Tips: Better focus less on stressing a fake British accent and more on how kindly you communicate with your guests

A lovely hotel with a rich historical ambiance, and the room size was amazing, exceeding my expectations. The ground-floor restaurant was very convenient, but there are several restaurants and pubs nearby offering plenty of alternative options. However, I decided to try the traditional Shanghai cuisine in the hotel and had a meal there. The food tasted good, although it was a bit pricey. The surrounding area was pleasant, perfect for a relaxing stroll that kept me in a pleasant mood.
