Location is fabulous in stylish Xintiandi, a great area for shopping & dining. Rooms are spacious, equipped with mood lighting, however I find it a bit dark for my liking. Bathroom has LED built mood lighting installed on the bathtub and one on the wash basin which feels a bit tacky. But hey, it’s not everyday you would see those kind of features in your bathroom. Breakfast is good. Happy hour with free flow wine and champagne every evening at their lobby lounge are really appreciated. The pool & gym on basement floor on the other hand feel a bit underwhelming.

Always great to stay at Andaz. I asked for a more quiet room and the receptionist arranged it for me. She also explained about the happy hour of the lobby lounge and so on. It was quick and good check in experience. The room was nice and quiet as I asked for. When I was leaving there as many cars in from if the entrance and it was difficult for my cab to get to the entrance but the concierge arranged it quickly for the car to drive up to the entrance. In particular, Nicholas Mao was very helpful with my luggage and wished me a nice day when I left. Great service indeed. Thanks! Will stay again !

The location is within walking distance of all the malls and F&B outlets. However, the staff is rude; the concierge service lady is not very friendly. I walked into the check-in counter and saw the staff talking rudely to another customer. I booked breakfast as well but only went for one day. The service staff there are very rude too. Suppose you ordered noodles or eggs. They will service your table but throw the clip number tag back to you instead of placing it nicely on the table. I guess all the service staff must go through another training course to speak to and treat the customer politely.  That room is pretty old. The sofa has been washed off and looks dirty, the TV frame is cracked, and the toilet bowl is dirty. The bathroom amenities are terrible, especially the shampoo. It smells like laundry wash and is bad for the scalp.

We always went to Langham Hotel that is next to Andaz, but this time, we decided to try out Andaz. It was to our surprise that the hotel is better than I thought. We got free minibar items, other than anything with alcohol. The pool is 1/4 Olympic size (the pool at Langham is 1/2 Olympic size, junior Olympic size). Other than that, we totally enjoyed our stay. The staff members are very friendly. People are complained about the neon lights in the bathroom, but to us, it is not a big deal.

It was a good stay - location at Xintiandi was great and the room had everything we need!

Breakfast is good. Only downside is the soundproofing not that good. Can hear people talking or walking outside the corridor or neighbors noise.

The hotel showed some tireness. Checking in process can be complicated and messy. Rooms are old and poorly mainted. Location is good as it is near mrt and restaurants. Breakfast variety is limited.

Good location and service is excellent. Jerry from front desk (前台）was very helpful when we were checking in late at night. Also another special call out to the cleaning lady on level 7 - she was also extremely customer friendly and helpful.  The pillows and bed were uncomfortable. Wish they had better bed and pillows as I could get any good sleep during my stay. Other amenities were ok.

This was my first time staying at Andaz Xintiandi. Overall quality was excellent, breakfast was great, with lots to chose from. We would have a happy hour at the lobby every day with sparkling wine and some finger food, and the room was completely controlled by an IPad, which was very nice. Room service was excellent ; served with quality and care. We would recommend it to anyone looking for spacious place near Xintiandi.
