Had an amazing experience at Shangri-La Pudong, my father is an elder and we have two young children. Excellent service from the moment we entered the property. Thank you to all staff that helped us! Great view of the bund and the lounge was lovely. Not overcrowded and a lot of chooses. Thank you for manager Jimmy Chen for your hospitality and also Mr Wilson from concierge. You made our stay amazing

Location is nice and central. Service is nice. Cleaning lady has attention to detail. But some guests need to take care of their kids and not have them scream and run around the lounge disturbing other people.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Everything was beautiful and classic par excellence, from the hotel's location, the beauty of the grand entrance, the cleanliness and luxury of the room, to the view of the room, which was somewhat good. But the hotel is old and has not kept up with the development taking place in some of the newer hotels. An experience that I will not repeat in light of the presence of many better options.

Amazing amazing amazing experience. Service staff were friendly. The location was spectacular, opposite Ritz-Carlton and IFC and several other malls. Easy food and shopping access as well as access to the river scenic area. Views from the hotel room were fantastic with clear views of the Orient Pearl Tower and The Bund. Buffet breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The huge area with a wide selection of international and local options took my breath away

The variety was impressive, catering to all tastes and preferences. My daughter was thrilled with the fresh fruit, pastries, and kid-friendly dishes, while my wife and I enjoyed the seafood selection, international cuisine, and live cooking stations. The dessert section was like stepping into a sweet paradise—an absolute treat for both kids and adults. Amenities: The hotel’s amenities were equally outstanding. The pool was clean, spacious, and perfect for our daughter, who loved splashing around while we relaxed nearby. The gym was well-equipped, and the spa area looked inviting, though we didn’t have a chance to try it this time. Our room was beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and a stunning view of the city. Small touches, like the kid-friendly toiletries provided for our daughter, showed the hotel’s attention to detail and commitment to making families feel at home. Final Thoughts: The Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai is an excellent choice for families looking for luxury, comfort, and world-class dining options. The hotel rooms are clean and neat. The hotel breakfast buffet are great. It has alot of variety of cuisines. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful to old folks. My parents were very happy staying here during our first trip to Shanghai.

We really enjoyed our stay at this luxurious hotel. Staff were friendly. I love the smell of the hotel. Location is right beside orient pearl tower, superbrand mall, IFC mall. Subway station is near, accessible to airport and almost all popular landmarks. We were upgraded to executive room with the view of artistic high rise buildings and orient pearl right in front of us. The night lights were captivating as well as daytime view. We were given free breakfast buffet and the spread is one of the widest. Western and Chinese cuisines are elaborate. The interior is also worth mentioning.
