Hanting Hotel (Shanghai Huanqiugang)

To be honest, this is the worst experience I've had staying in a hotel so far. I booked this hotel because I wanted to be closer to the exam. At first I saw that it was renovated in 2024, which seemed ok. But when I got here I found that it just had a new coat of paint, and the things inside were still as old as they could be. Then the king-size room has inner windows or no windows. I was informed in advance and actually didn't mind. The distance of the inner window is such that if the curtains are not drawn, you can face the next room. Um, the window latch cannot be closed. The soundproofing of this old hotel is really bad. If you don't need it, I really don't recommend staying in this hotel. Whether it's the door on the same floor that was not closed properly and made a beeping sound for a long time, or the sound of the neighbors opening and closing the door, or even talking and chatting, it feels like the sound is right next to your ears. Normal people will probably have a nervous breakdown if they sleep in for an hour. Also, there was no notification that the next door was being renovated, because normally there would be a reminder on Ctrip. Every day I heard the sound of electric drills during the day and people chatting at night. And the cleaning lady was really speechless, she didn't say a word, didn't answer questions, just kept knocking on the door and insisted on coming in to collect the garbage, ************** Definitely do not stay at this hotel. I stayed at Hanting Hotel again. This time I stayed at Shanghai Global Harbor Branch. The location is very good. It is very close to the subway station and convenient for travel. The hotel also has free parking spaces, which is very good. The breakfast in the hotel is also good and rich. It is worth recommending.
