Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

Fantastic experience in this amazing hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, bottled water available in the room as well as super attentive staff. Food is excellent !!! A pearl in the middle of the Serengeti national park! Ground or top floor rooms (they are bungalow style) are very nice

The upstairs rooms had beautiful views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The property had character and allowed for relaxing spaces. We enjoyed the food on offer as well. Well located and a haven for tired bodies. We saw a herd of impalas on the road to the lodge and they remained there for the 3 days we were there.

We were here in June and we liked it so much that we came again in December. Wonderful object, fantastic people and beautiful nature. We recommend the cottage with the number 12A, there are two rooms and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. We plan another visit to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge in the middle of next year. We thank the manager and the staff for such a great atmosphere and warm welcome.

This was by far the best of the four Serena lodges we stayed in. The thatched huts were comfortable, with a spacious bedroom and bathroom, but the jewel was the terrace overlooking the Serengeti. Watching dawn break, or the sun set ,over the grounds, filled with birds and dik diks, is a memory for life. The staff were so friendly and helpful, from bar staff to chef Florian, who prepared THE BEST fruit salads for our lunch boxes, to the night watch who escort you to you room after dark (!), this was a wonderful experience.

As a travel advisor you have to be open to the experience you may not be use to so you can share first hand the beauty others should have an opportunity to enjoy. What a wonderful piece of heaven. This location has the best staff, excellent tents and good food. I look forward to bring my clients here for this experience.

Central Serengeti is crowded with many cars, and we did experiment some tension between jeeps for hard to see animals. Indeed, we did see there amazing scenes there. 1 night – 3 rooms – 6 guests Hotel: Impressive view over Serengeti. Pleasant pool & pool bar, irresistible pet gazelle. Very crowed place. Room: Nice huts. Small room not climatized/only fan, private small terrasse. On ground floor no window can be open at night, as lodge is in the park. At first floor, room is hot, and we had opened all window during dinner but the house keeping service did close it all… Food: all buffet, with a wide choice and a lot of Indian food. Lunch box with sandwiches that were easily transported in the plane.
