When we arrived at Mbuzi Mawe, I felt like I had stepped onto a movie about a safari. Yes we stayed in “tents” but these are tents with real floors, real beds, hot water, and 24-hour electricity (and Wi-fi). The walk was not long or difficult and it was a nice chance for us to see things on foot instead of from a vehicle and is something I would recommend if you have the chance.

We were three days in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is located directly in Serengeti and impressed with a splendid view. The entire facility is lovely and typically African furnished. We got a room upgrade to the most beautiful room we've ever seen, thank you! All staff is very friendly and helpful. We would recommend the Safari package with lunch in the Serengeti, because such a great lunch had the other visitors there not ;-), thanks to the kitchen team at this point. The biodiversity of the animals here is impressive. The hotel's food and drink offer is excellent just as the service, thanks to the entire F&B team for the great time. Restaurant Boma is especially recommended. The view from the restaurants is also unforgettable. We would come back here at any time and recommend the hotel warmest.
