We will disseminate information about ”Hotel Volcroro Kakunodate” in Kakunodate-cho, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture. I stayed at ”Hotel Volcroro Kakunodate” from April 22nd to 24th, 2023. ”Hotel Folkloro Kakudate” is a series of hotels of ”JR East Hotels”, adjacent to JR ”Kakudate Station”, and is a short distance of 30 m on foot from the entrance and exit of the station. Breakfast is free and parking is free. There are only 9 parking lots, but if they are full, they will guide you to the nearby free parking lot. Also, all rooms are Wi-Fi compatible, and even if you forget your mobile phone charger, they will be lent to you at the front desk. The room is kept clean and gives a good impression. Since it is adjacent to JR ”Kakunodate Station”, I was worried that I would be worried about the sound of the train, but I could sleep well without worrying about the noise of the train at all. It is access to the essential Kakunodate ”Samurai residence”, but it takes about 14 minutes on foot to reach the nearest samurai residence ”Onoda family” in Higashishorakucho, and it takes about 1100 m. On the street leading to the samurai residence, I arrived in no time when I saw a birch shop, a souvenir shop, a Oyakodon shop, etc. You can reach the cherry blossom tunnel on the Kiuchi River embankment in 20 minutes on foot, and about 2000 m. The best location in front of the station is within walking distance to tourist attractions. Also, you can go to see the cherry blossoms and the illumination of the samurai residence at night and miss dinner. In the hotel, there was a restaurant, a tea house ”Sakura Komachi”, and there were plenty of menus such as Inaniwa Udon, Hinai Chicken Oyakodon, Okariba Yaki, and Kamiyo curry. However, the hotel does not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage to your room by hand. This trip was a large suitcase for foreign travel because I had a lot to wear considering the cold. I want a service that hotel employees will help me. I had a pretty heavy thought and took my suitcase to 2F. 01_ [One bite note] ⑴ Location ... 〒014-0368 Nakasuzawa, Kakudate CHO, Senboku City, Akita Prefecture 14−14 Telephone ... 0187-53-2070 ⑵ Check-in Out ① Check-in ... 15:00 ② Check-out ... 11:00 ⑶ Parking ... 9 (free) When full, guide to the nearby free parking lot ⑷ Facilities ... I went to kakukan several times, but I stayed here for the first time. There were not many rooms, no group guests, and it was a quiet and relaxing hotel. The bath can get a free ticket (2 times) of the nearby ”kakunoda Onsen”. The most happy thing was to go to the room clothes! I was very happy with this service because it was troublesome to go in my clothes, take a bath slowly, and return to the hotel in my clothes. I received breakfast in the dining room. It would be natural. . . The rice was delicious. The side dishes were delicious. The building was a Japanese style based on black, which seemed to be the black wall of the samurai residence in kakukan, but it was nice with a modern feeling somewhere. The only regret is that I have to go up the stairs and go to the room, so I have to carry my luggage. But the staff helped me so I was saved.

THis accommodation was a completely separate converted storehouse in a very historic and convenient part of the town. The reception staff at the main building close to the station were extraordinarily helpful and kind, and drove ahead of us to show us the way to the building. The building is a superbly converted spacious and very modern yet authentic space, with a fabulous downstairs bathtub (Olsen really ..) that can accommodate two (wonderfully cosy ..) and makes for an authentic Japanese bathing experience alongside the deliciously served breakfasts from the staff who appear at the given time. The upstairs bedroom is sumptuous and has futon style bedding but raised up somewhat which makes for a more comfortable night for westerners used to that height. Just about every possible amenity one could imagine wanting has been catered for, and we could easily have stayed more than our two nights with great pleasure. However, Kacunodate is probably ‘done’ in about 2 days, so long enough. We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough!

A relatively new hotel in a tourist spot in Kakudate. Overall, I felt like I tried to make a business hotel a little fashionable. The reception at the front desk was good. There are convenience stores and souvenir shops next door, and there is no problem with the restaurant. The location is good and clean as a hotel for sleeping at least, and it can be recommended. The room is small. Almost full of beds. I could use the coffee machine for free in the morning (I wish I could use it in the evening ...). There is also a tourist information magazine. Depending on the person, I thought the cospa was not good.

It is an inn with a large hot spring. The hot spring is indoors, but it was a high-ceiling building with thick log pillars, and it was a large communal bath with an atmosphere.
There is a restaurant in the building with hot spring facilities. The restaurant is also comfortable with high ceilings. There are a wide variety of sake from Akita Prefecture, and the food was very delicious. The Chinese food was plentiful and I had green pepper shredded meat, but it was very delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes and local dishes.

There is a distance from kankakukan station, but there is a transfer bus every 1 hour from 13:30, and it is convenient because the big luggage is carried to the inn first, and the return is sent to the station. The staff is very good. In the past, it was a city facility and now it is a three-sex management. It is said that the old name is ”Hideko sho”. The hot spring is a stream and there are many day trip users, but the bathroom is large and relaxing including the open-air bath. Is there no meal or no meal?

Excellent
HHUIQIONGThe environment is very good, the villa by the lake. Can sit on the sofa in the room and dare nothing, feel like a vacation. There are sometimes concerts on weekends. I just got together and listened to it. It was pretty good. The music schedule is available on the boss’s Facebook page. You can contact him. The English is pretty good. Breakfast and dinner are so-so, not too full.
AAnonymous UserThe room is large and comfortable, but unfortunately the big tree outside the window is a bit blocking the view, and there are really not many problems. The details can be seen everywhere, the breakfast is delicious, the treasure hotel, I hope that there are not too many people.
GGuest UserI stayed at this glamping field with a friend who wants to camp and I am not interested in camping. There is no toilet or bath in the room. (Of course, TV is also available) We will use the toilet and large communal bath in the main building opposite. I was worried about the toilet at night, but I was worried because it was a sense of distance from several emails. The room is compact, but the air-conditioning is also effective and comfortable. The main camp experience will be prepared in the state of baking the ingredients, and the hotel staff will light it if you ask for charcoal fire. However, it was a barbecue while making a fuss with the two of them who had the first experience. It was a big outbreak of Abu in the time, so it was difficult to get attacked by Abu early in the evening. (Insect repellent and * Insecticide will also be prepared) However, by the time you have dessert, you will be able to relax without abs. It was raining in the morning, but breakfast on the deck, the view of the square and the mountain in front of me was beautiful without worrying about insects, and the birds' voice was a really pleasant breakfast time with BGM. The coffee you grind and brew yourself is also delicious. A full-scale camp is impossible, but it is recommended for those who want to experience only the atmosphere. It seems good to prepare separate sandals to move to the deck and the main building. (It was troublesome to wear sneakers one by one) The staff in charge of us was kind and pleasant. I hope there is a pamphlet that teaches first-timers like us how to enjoy camping. (There was a bonfire, but I noticed that it existed in the morning, and I didn't know how to use the camping equipment and there were scenes where I was confused. I can do this. Could you enjoy it more if you could give a lecture like this? I would like to visit you again in a different season next time. Thank you very much.
GGuest UserI go to Tamagawa Onsen several times a year by private car, but Tamagawa Onsen is closed during the winter, so I really wanted to be healed by the hot water of Tamagawa Onsen, so I went to Shin-Tamagawa Onsen, which has the same spring quality. I stayed here using public transportation. Take the Shinkansen and get off at Tazawako Station. I took a local bus in front of the station, but it was very snowy and it was understandable that private cars were closed. I made a reservation for one night, but it was a waste to go back the next day because I had a hard time getting here! I asked for another night extension when I checked in. Thanks to that, on the first day, I spent a lot of time in bedrock bathing, bathing, and eating. I was able to. Due to the strong acidity, my hands were chapped and covered with scabs by the time I returned home, but I was able to enjoy the pure white scenery in the open-air bath, which Tamagawa Onsen does not have, and I had a good New Year's holiday. rice field. I stayed at this inn for the hot springs and the food. There were few streetlights on the road from the bus stop to the hotel, and some parts were dark at night. It was a cold day, so it was nice that the hotel welcomed me with a warm soup! Dinner was a course meal using locally produced ingredients, and Kiritanpo hotpot was also delicious. The room was clean, and the Japanese-Western room was very spacious and comfortable. I was also happy that the hair dryer in the room was a refa. The bath wasn't big, but it was a relaxing bath with free-flowing hot spring water. The staff were polite and kind. However, it was a cold day, and although it was warmer than outside, it was cold inside the building. In the hallways, dining area, etc.
EEA.The large public bath is a natural hot spring. The interior is beautiful. It's far from the station, but if you contact the hotel by 5pm the day before your stay, they will pick you up from Tazawako Station for free. The buffet is interesting as it uses many locally produced ingredients. And yet the price is reasonable and it was great value for money! The negative points are: 1. The toilet and sink in the room are small, 2. There was no sea bream at the buffet venue, even though it was called ”celebratory food,” there were few vegetables, and the staff was not very communicative (foreigners. It's not bad, but I wish they would be more polite), and 3. The men's open-air bath is in a detached building and is cold in winter. I took those points off my rating.
李李The old grandfather at the front desk is very nice~ There is a hot spring on the first floor, which is an ordinary and styled room but clean and tidy~
TtktomoI couldn't put it in mysterious hot water, so I went here right next door. There is a locker and valuables box as soon as you enter the entrance. The locker says ”Return 100 yen later”, but it doesn't come back (laughs) (Used locker?) The indoor bath has a washroom, but it's quite small and it may be difficult when it's crowded. Impression. The open air is not the atmosphere of looking out (like the wooden enclosure was right there?), but it's ok. It was Saturday afternoon, but a few people quietly and leisurely entered.
