THis accommodation was a completely separate converted storehouse in a very historic and convenient part of the town. The reception staff at the main building close to the station were extraordinarily helpful and kind, and drove ahead of us to show us the way to the building. The building is a superbly converted spacious and very modern yet authentic space, with a fabulous downstairs bathtub (Olsen really ..) that can accommodate two (wonderfully cosy ..) and makes for an authentic Japanese bathing experience alongside the deliciously served breakfasts from the staff who appear at the given time. The upstairs bedroom is sumptuous and has futon style bedding but raised up somewhat which makes for a more comfortable night for westerners used to that height. Just about every possible amenity one could imagine wanting has been catered for, and we could easily have stayed more than our two nights with great pleasure. However, Kacunodate is probably ‘done’ in about 2 days, so long enough. We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough!

It is an inn with a large hot spring. The hot spring is indoors, but it was a high-ceiling building with thick log pillars, and it was a large communal bath with an atmosphere.
There is a restaurant in the building with hot spring facilities. The restaurant is also comfortable with high ceilings. There are a wide variety of sake from Akita Prefecture, and the food was very delicious. The Chinese food was plentiful and I had green pepper shredded meat, but it was very delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes and local dishes.

This is a B&B hotel, located near the subway station, but there are no shopping malls or attractions nearby. It is mainly a rest stop during the journey, so it is a good choice
I stayed for one night in a renovated Twin with half board. The rooms are compact and clean. Two bottles of water are also included. The cozy hot spring is also pleasant. It is the food that deserves special mention, and the dinner is quite good. Komagatake and Lake Tazawa can be seen from the observatory on the 5th floor, but water leaked due to heavy rain.

The room is large and comfortable, but unfortunately the big tree outside the window is a bit blocking the view, and there are really not many problems. The details can be seen everywhere, the breakfast is delicious, the treasure hotel, I hope that there are not too many people.
There is a distance from kankakukan station, but there is a transfer bus every 1 hour from 13:30, and it is convenient because the big luggage is carried to the inn first, and the return is sent to the station. The staff is very good. In the past, it was a city facility and now it is a three-sex management. It is said that the old name is ”Hideko sho”. The hot spring is a stream and there are many day trip users, but the bathroom is large and relaxing including the open-air bath. Is there no meal or no meal?
I went to kakukan several times, but I stayed here for the first time. There were not many rooms, no group guests, and it was a quiet and relaxing hotel. The bath can get a free ticket (2 times) of the nearby ”kakunoda Onsen”. The most happy thing was to go to the room clothes! I was very happy with this service because it was troublesome to go in my clothes, take a bath slowly, and return to the hotel in my clothes. I received breakfast in the dining room. It would be natural. . . The rice was delicious. The side dishes were delicious. The building was a Japanese style based on black, which seemed to be the black wall of the samurai residence in kakukan, but it was nice with a modern feeling somewhere. The only regret is that I have to go up the stairs and go to the room, so I have to carry my luggage. But the staff helped me so I was saved.

Discover these places worth visiting in Semboku and select a hotel nearby for ultimate convenience
Lake Tazawa
ZZyfmyđA small attraction, Akita Sensenbei City ~ Tazawako, transfer at Tokyo Haneda Airport, fly to Akita Airport, take the Shinkansen to Tazawako Station, rent a bicycle and ride 20 kilometers around the lake the next day, and go to the secret Nyuto Onsen in the afternoon. There are few tourists in winter and the scenery is beautiful
Kakunodatemachi
TTaiShan-ZHANGXINKakunodate, Akita
The Little Kyoto of Hokuriku, you can enjoy colorful cherry blossoms in spring and red autumn leaves all over the mountains in autumn. Kakunodate in Hokuriku has a history of 400 years and retains the characteristics of the Edo period. It has both ancient charm and beautiful scenery. If you live in Japan for a long time, you must come to visit and experience it.
Dakigaeri Valley
小小可爱的小小迷弟The climate is pleasant and the environment is beautiful. It is suitable for a family to come and rest. The traffic is good. The store is very enthusiastic. I will come back next time. If I have time, I can come and watch a movie.
Tamagawa Onsen Nature Research Road
つつみきつみYou can experience the natural bedrock bath and feel wild. I didn't have a goza, but there was no rental, and it was a little hot, but it was about 20 minutes. I was very heady.
Gozanoishi Shrine
旅旅を楽しみTIMEIt's a little far from the Tatsuko statue, but it's a spot you should go to when you come to Lake Tazawa.
