Good value for money.
I booked 3 rooms. One of the non-smoking room smells like smoke, but the hotel switched it with another room, so problem was resolved pretty quickly.
The hotel has sufficient selection of the ala carte food menu, it was freshly made therefor it tooks sometime.
Great service 10/10 everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Hotel has a small swimming pool, located outdoor with shades, next to the restaurant. Perfecr for family with small kids

The minus is the parking lot and entrance access of the Hotel that needs extra effort, because it only goes through the lobby, so you need to walk to the front of the lobby. It would be nice if it had access near the parking lot.

Overall is okay... but cleanliness is just a bit lack.. the good thing about this hotel is the room is spacious.. the swimming pool is belonged to the neighboring hotel MG Suites so customers from MG setos can not use the swimming pool freely, we have to pay 50k rupiah per person to be able to use the pool... the other downside is the Parking area, from the parking area to first lobby there is no elevator so if you bring a lot of luggage you have to carry it heavily by stair from parking area to first lobby before you can take the elevator.. so it is kinda a hassle.. but you can drop your belonging in front of the first lobby if you dont want to carry it all yourself there is the staff offering trolly, at night the parking area is locked it is safe but become a problem when you want to go out at night or come back at night

The room is very nice although quite small. I went with my family of three and asked for one extra towel & toothbrush but not given because of the hotel policy. It would be nice if we could have one because we only have 1 child. I recommend the hotel to relax this policy and would consider giving 5 stars. The staffs are very friendly and the breakfast is recommended for everyone to try.

The location is strategic, near the mall and just walking distance to the old city area which has lots of restaurants and historical buildings. The hotel lobby is ok, the breakfast is decent but there aren't too many choices of stalls. The buffet food is just ordinary. The rooms are big, the furniture is ordinary, the TV signal is not good. The employees are friendly and quite helpful. For trips where you don't want to relax in your room or enjoy the hotel facilities (the pool was being repaired when we were there), this hotel is suitable because the location is really good.

The standard room is very small, barely place to walk to the other side of the bed. But we keep coming bed because we feel comfortable every time we stay here with reasonable price. They also have 24 hours gym, and have billiard table, free tea and coffee at the lobby, located in DP Mall, so its very easy to buy things or grab a food. Use mobile apps to unlock the door to the room, so it's easier, no need to find access card whenever want to go to the room

GGuest UserI had my stay on 28 - 30 October. Overll the check in process was smooth and the room is comfort. The disaster happened on the next day when I went down for breakfast at 6:20 in the morning. I understand the bfast started from 6 am and the reason I went dow at 6:20 was to avoid the crowd and to select the seats we wanted. There was not many waitress in charge I have to call them for tea and coffee. The duration of waiting for coffee and tea ws about 30 mins until I have to contact them again and again. The weird things that there was nobody incharge in Semarangan section and Dimsum section and Roti Kukus Section ( I took the photo attached). I even asked the staffs what time the staff arrived and start serve the guests. One of the staffs said that some of them were still prepared the breakfast and the manager was not stand by also in the restaurant. It was terrible experience for 5 star hotel like Tentrem. On fact I had enjoyable and memorable stay and experience when I stayed at Padma Semarang on the previous stay. The staffs esp in the restaurant are more attentive and details. Remarks: pls see the pics attached

???Weird design: located the QR code (for hotel service/ menu) at the bottom center of the table. Please ask the hotel manager to try on working at those tables.
Highlights: breakfast provides fresh juice (pineapple, carrot, red dragon). 10 seconds walk to DP mall. Kids play zone is decent and nice. 3 min walk to Lawang Sewu.

GGuest UserLocation was in the central Semarang. The room was spacious enough. Bed was very comfy and bathroom size was also spacious. Breakfast was good with Indonesian food. They have Indomie instant noodle station so it was really fun. The staff however need more training ( one staff did not know whether it was yogurt or mayonaise, he said it was yogurt so I was mistakenly ate a spoonful of mayonaise. Another staff did not know what “sunny side up egg” was ) But overall it was very relaxing stay.

GGuest UserI was interested in staying at this hotel because of its unique location in a residential complex and the beautiful atmosphere around the hotel. I made a reservation through booking.com, all processes until I checked in everything went smoothly, the check-in process was very efficient, no more than 3 minutes. However, all thoughts of enjoying a clean and quiet room, and the desire to enjoy the surroundings of the hotel through the bedroom window, vanished in an instant. My eyes immediately found strands of hair on the couch and also on the bathroom floor, and the bedroom window was closed with an iced glass window which made sure I couldn't see anything from the room, let alone enjoy the natural atmosphere that had been beautiful in my mind. DISAPPOINTED. TIPS : 1. Please be careful when getting off the vehicle in front of the hotel lobby, because that area is also a road for residential residents, so make sure it is safe before you get out of the vehicle, because sometimes from the left and right vehicles pass by at high speed. 2. Make sure that your room's window is _see through_ so that you will not _trapped_ in a room with NO view!

GGuest UserThis place is in the middle of Simpang Lima and Lawang Sewu, two of main attraction in Semarang. It is not far to go to other attraction such as Kota Lama, Sam Pho Kong etc. This place is not new, but it offer delicious breakfast selection especially Indonesian dishes. Do not expect super luxury place for its price. There are a lot of improvement needed such as the carpet on corridor look old and the wall in rooms and public area also old. Pantry on lift landing always in open position, it is not good for guest to see back area like that. Toilet is very far from restaurant. Better finish your toilet business before eating in this restaurant, otherwise you might lose your appetite for traveling far from restaurant for toilet.

GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel during our trip to Semarang, My sister booked a connecting room, I stayed with my wife and my 9y..o daughter, and my sis was in the next door room. The room that we stayed in has some smell, the staff said it's because the aircon has just been switched on, but I didn't think so because my sister's room didn't have that smell. The ensuite layout is rather odd and too narrow. The shower is almost fall off. The bedroom itself is fine, the service is also quite good. There is a rooftop swimming pool. Location is also good.

WWarlordCame there to find out that my room has been cancelled. Their reason was because they are in partnership with OYO and a lot of rooms has been canceled by the ”system” so there were no rooms left for me to check in that day. They had already had a substitute hotel which I rejected.
I requested a refund in cash and they refused. They promised that the refund will be done via Trip app but when asked how does the refund work, no one could explain.
Finally I asked them again about the room availability because I was sure that they had at least a couple of rooms available. I told them that it was their responsibility to provide me with a room, even if the ones available are more expensive than what I have paid for.
Suddenly they apologised and told me that a room was available, exactly like the one I had paid for.
The rest of the stay was great.
I wish to come back and visit the hotel, hoping that such suspicious experience will not be repeated in my next visit.

GGuest User1. Bedroom: well, seems like it’s an old hotel. But size wise, the deluxe room is large, clean and well-maintained. Connecting rooms are provided here 2. Bathroom: a bit claustrophobic but from amenities and its cleanliness standard, it’s decent. 3. Breakfast: Breakfast spread offers a lot of choice. Everything is decent. You won’t miss a thing if you skip the breakfast here and choose to go for a culinary trip in Semarang. 4. Parking: there is an indoor parking here. 5. Location: Located at Jalan Pandanaran, the hotel is pretty much central in the heart of Semarang. For “stay & sleep” experience, it’s good enough. 6. Overall: for Rp 515,000 per night. It’s pretty much a good bargain for a 3.5-star experience. However, I would certainly expect more for its “Premiere” title.
