I think this hotel is very recommended, the price is not too good with a nice and comfortable room, the bathroom is clean and everything is normal if you don't have to go out because there is a restaurant here too

I am looking for an affordable budget hotel only for a short vacation after a full week of busy working. And I got a room at Radja Art & Boutique Hotel at a price of 250 thousand. With that price, I get a room that is not too large. Studio type rooms are perfect for a short vacation and rest. The mattress is quite comfortable, the pillow is the same. Air Conditioner works very well. Room cleanliness is quite good, it's just that there are a few stains at some points in the sheets. For me not a problem, but whether for other guests. The rest is fine. This room is equipped with a television whose channels are not very good in terms of signal capture. Although there are several channels from abroad, but the appearance is not clear. For guests who just want to lie down on the bed while enjoying TV shows might be a bit of a problem. The bathroom is quite clean and the exhaust fan works well. So the bathroom stays dry after a while left. The rooms at Radja look so fresh with a variety of contemporary art ornaments. Especially in the lobby and hallways of each floor. So there is no gloomy impression. The restaurant is also quite roomy, and the food isn't bad at all. For the price of 250 thousand rupiah, what I get is well worth it. I would love to come again and try another room type from Radja Art & Boutique Hotel Semarang. This is one of the best budget hotels I have ever been to.

We stayed in this hotel during our trip to Semarang, My sister booked a connecting room, I stayed with my wife and my 9y..o daughter, and my sis was in the next door room. The room that we stayed in has some smell, the staff said it's because the aircon has just been switched on, but I didn't think so because my sister's room didn't have that smell. The ensuite layout is rather odd and too narrow. The shower is almost fall off. The bedroom itself is fine, the service is also quite good. There is a rooftop swimming pool. Location is also good.

If you have your own transportation, the place is actually not too far away from Kota Lama, and it's surrounded by a lot of nice spots. The receptionist was friendly, the room is decent for the price, and they have a restaurant with nice view and reasonable price. Didn't take any photos but it looks pretty much similar to what's on the Internet. The biggest minus point is that you can hear pretty clear if people talking/walking in the hall.

The location is in the alley, so it is a bit narrow, but there are many rooms inside.. the cleanliness is super, although the guesthouse class is similar to a 3-star hotel. The air conditioner is cold, with the price of 130 is very worthwhile, the facilities are the best

GGuest UserThe standard room is very small, barely place to walk to the other side of the bed. But we keep coming bed because we feel comfortable every time we stay here with reasonable price. They also have 24 hours gym, and have billiard table, free tea and coffee at the lobby, located in DP Mall, so its very easy to buy things or grab a food. Use mobile apps to unlock the door to the room, so it's easier, no need to find access card whenever want to go to the room

GGuest UserThis is a clean and nice hotel, located a bit far from Simpang Lima Semarang. The room is nice, with hot water flowing, no smoking odor room, and cool AC. However the hotel reservation system through the MyHorison website, needs more improvement. When I made a reservation through the MyHorison website, I didn't receive a confirmation number through my email, but only three lines messages confirming that I have successfully make the reservation (without mentioning the confirmation number) and a suggestion to contact a whatsapp number if I hadn't receive another email confirming my payment after 30 minutes. Waited for more than 30 mins, I didn't receive the confirmation number, then I contacted the whatsapp number plus whatsapp number of this specific hotel. They need hours to send me my room reservation confirmation number, and when they finally did, the confirmation showed my reservation was ”unpaid” (while actually I did pay the room using my credit card). On the check-in date, I gave the print out of the short email and the room confirmation with unpaid status to the receptionist. She took picture of those papers, and asked for a certain number from me, which I didn't have, so I gave her an sms message from my credit card that showed I have paid the transaction. She took picture of my sms from my mobile phone and finalized the process, and gave me the key to my room. From this story you can learn that the reservation process until I got my room was very very painful and stressful. This hotel definitely has to learn from other hotel on how to upgrade their technology for their painless reservation process.

GGuest UserLocation was in the central Semarang. The room was spacious enough. Bed was very comfy and bathroom size was also spacious. Breakfast was good with Indonesian food. They have Indomie instant noodle station so it was really fun. The staff however need more training ( one staff did not know whether it was yogurt or mayonaise, he said it was yogurt so I was mistakenly ate a spoonful of mayonaise. Another staff did not know what “sunny side up egg” was ) But overall it was very relaxing stay.

WWarlordCame there to find out that my room has been cancelled. Their reason was because they are in partnership with OYO and a lot of rooms has been canceled by the ”system” so there were no rooms left for me to check in that day. They had already had a substitute hotel which I rejected.
I requested a refund in cash and they refused. They promised that the refund will be done via Trip app but when asked how does the refund work, no one could explain.
Finally I asked them again about the room availability because I was sure that they had at least a couple of rooms available. I told them that it was their responsibility to provide me with a room, even if the ones available are more expensive than what I have paid for.
Suddenly they apologised and told me that a room was available, exactly like the one I had paid for.
The rest of the stay was great.
I wish to come back and visit the hotel, hoping that such suspicious experience will not be repeated in my next visit.

AAnonymous UserOverall is okay... but cleanliness is just a bit lack.. the good thing about this hotel is the room is spacious.. the swimming pool is belonged to the neighboring hotel MG Suites so customers from MG setos can not use the swimming pool freely, we have to pay 50k rupiah per person to be able to use the pool... the other downside is the Parking area, from the parking area to first lobby there is no elevator so if you bring a lot of luggage you have to carry it heavily by stair from parking area to first lobby before you can take the elevator.. so it is kinda a hassle.. but you can drop your belonging in front of the first lobby if you dont want to carry it all yourself there is the staff offering trolly, at night the parking area is locked it is safe but become a problem when you want to go out at night or come back at night

When we parking our motorcycle bit confuse because no guard there that can help us , so i think it mix between guest and employee. Start check in around 4 pm , i do believe in those time will busy during weekend , but start with disappointed for first impression of the front desk team . I booked 1 room large bed and non smooking room but not available and they offer smoking room . We take it but still disappointed , i thought they didn't read our reservation carefully when they got my reservation by app. They just asked our ID for copy it and fill reservation form and give the keys but they didn't give us clearly information about the hotel. Likes where and what time breakfast take place , another facilities. When we arrived to the room they said my room number is 502 and i try to open it ,but it didn't work and i check in the small envelope the room is 503. Luckily the guest in 502 didn't know this case because i saw the guest 502 came around after i move to 503 . The room is spacious and comfort but during the night we sleep, i can hear the next door guest turn on tv till morning because our room has connecting door. Swimming pool in 3rd floor not large but its okay, we looking the pool towel we didn't find it even pool attendant we didn't find it too. Breakfast at 2nd floor , the menu has so many choice , you can take it by yourself. When we meet the employee , almost of them less hospitality to greet the guest sometimes i do first , i think they need to improve their hospitality . I only found 1 women in front desk that she has good impression on hospitality during my check out time with gray uniform , didn't likes the 1 women in front desk with orange uniform during my check in which look didn't care about the guest. I hope it will be a good improvement in the future .

GGuest UserI was interested in staying at this hotel because of its unique location in a residential complex and the beautiful atmosphere around the hotel. I made a reservation through booking.com, all processes until I checked in everything went smoothly, the check-in process was very efficient, no more than 3 minutes. However, all thoughts of enjoying a clean and quiet room, and the desire to enjoy the surroundings of the hotel through the bedroom window, vanished in an instant. My eyes immediately found strands of hair on the couch and also on the bathroom floor, and the bedroom window was closed with an iced glass window which made sure I couldn't see anything from the room, let alone enjoy the natural atmosphere that had been beautiful in my mind. DISAPPOINTED. TIPS : 1. Please be careful when getting off the vehicle in front of the hotel lobby, because that area is also a road for residential residents, so make sure it is safe before you get out of the vehicle, because sometimes from the left and right vehicles pass by at high speed. 2. Make sure that your room's window is _see through_ so that you will not _trapped_ in a room with NO view!
