The hotel ambience, rooms, location is good but the overall service is very poor. Hotel Spa is being run by a different management and are missing professional staff. For us it started with cancellation of pre-made spa appointments as someone “cancelled“ our ones in the system. I can’t imagine why that should happen! We had to fight and compromise on timings to get back to reasonable solution. The quality of staff doing massage and treats was really poor. It seemed to be unprofessional, untrained and without any German or English speaking skills. Another major lack was observed in restaurant, there too staff was temporary, new and inexperienced. Two out of three nights we had service persons who had their first working day there! We had booked Thursday to Saturday considering rush on weekends but it seems hotel paid attention only to people who came on weekends. Sorry to say but better don’t visit on weekdays, if that’s so an attitude. We had a spoilt holiday!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seefeld Post with its position right in the centre of the village – bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. We had a Rosshutte room and it appeared that the room had been renovated in the fairly recent past. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious with a very comfy bed and plenty of storage. There was a kettle and cups for those who need it. The balcony had a table and 2 chairs with a lovely view toward the Roshutte. We particularly liked the ensuite shower room, the toilet was separate. Food was very good with plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. At breakfast we chose our evening meal main course. The Evening meal salad buffet starter is very good this followed by a soup course and desert always help yourself from the buffet. Our waiter was mostly Anton who looked after us very well although the other staff were very nice too. We must not forget the ladies and young gentlemen on reception who always had a smile when we passed This is a great hotel if you want to be in the centre of the village (no problems with noise in our room 204) with loads of walks for all abilities in the surrounding mountains.

Pros the Hotel is right in the centre of Seefeld set in the main square with free car park at the back . There is a wonderful indoor pool which on several days we had to ourselves Breakfast was good although some days the wait for fresh cooked eggs was far too long We really wish we had just stayed bed and breakfast Cons - WiFi non existent in our room which we found very frustrating as no mobile signal either Mini bar in room had 2 free bottles of water but needed a bottle opener to open we asked at reception to be told ask a member of staff ! Half board started off okay for the 1st four nights but went rapidly downhill. Started off with over 6 staff in the dining room which went down to 2 after 4 days who were running around like headless chickens . 4 out of 10 nights it was veal so 2 nights we tried the veggie option and the other nights we gave up and went out for the best meals of our holiday . On check in we were told that rooms would only be cleaned every 2 days but after 5’days they turned up every day . The hotel bar staff were not friendly one night at 8-30 I asked for a coffee to be told cafe closed . Another night at 9-30 I saw they were serving cappuccinos so asked to order one only again to be told the cafe was closed while he was still serving other people them. The location was perfect the hotel and pool spotlessly clean but the service for a supposedly 4 star hotel was lacking

We stayed here 10 years ago and I am sorry to say the inefficient unfriendly service is worse than 10 years ago. Nobody in the Hotel or the connected bar had a smile or a friendly knowing hello - even though we were there for 7 days. The cleaning - every other day ??? Was poor We love Seefeld and the Austrian Alps generally but this hotel is overpriced for what it offers and we will not be returning.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of town. Food was excellent, the staff were also excellent and the Spa area was great after coming back from a long walk. A great location for exploring other towns with easy and reliable public transport. A fantastic holiday.

Absolutely fantastic stay in this gorgeous hotel located very centrally in Seefeld with ease of access to mountains, valley walks, bus and train station etc. The staff could not have been more attentive, helpful and pleasant while the food was incredible. While breakfast was delicious and on par with any 5 star hotel, the evening meals which consist of 5+ courses (gala dinner on Sundays) are above and beyond utilising finest ingredients, beautifully presented and delicious, plus exemplary service. The chef can often be seen chatting with guests in the evening. As a vegetarian, there was plenty of choice. The rooms were extremely comfortable, very quiet at night and cleaned each day. Highly recommend.

If there's a better location in a better sized town in the area, I'm not sure where it is. Nice big rooms with balconies, terrific breakfast etc etc; but more than that, lovely, friendly people in all areas. English very much spoken at the hotel (and shops etc.) Highly recommended

Fantastic week in the Post Seefeld! The food was superb - from the breakfast buffet through to the sumptuous evening meals. Thank you to the chef and team who looked after us so well. The hotel is well located for anyone arriving by train and although it's on the village square it was a tranquil hotel with a spacious spa complex to unwind in after a day's walking or skiing. There was only one evening during the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup when music could be heard from bars, especially if your room looked out over the square. The staff at the hotel were helpful and welcoming. We would definitely book again.
