Stayed here as a Base for Horseracing
Big Hotel,plenty of Parking.Spa/Pool is off site.
Our Room was quite small,and we did have issues with the heating not working too well.
Room was clean,Bathroom good with all amenities.
TV was big,but had intermittent glitches with the picture,but nothing too bad.
Breakfast was good,buffet style,so no problems there.
The Spa/Pool/Gym is off site up at the top of the Car Park,which can be a chilly walk.
All in all,good Hotel with decent Rooms,Breakfast,and Pool.

My experience from entrance to reception was excellent, making me feel instantly at ease. It was clear that all staff members were dedicated and proud of their work, consistently going out of their way to assist guests. The breakfasts were truly wonderful and delicious! I especially want to commend Steve, the breakfast chef, whose outstanding cooking was matched only by his incredibly cheerful smile.

Disappointed
We have stayed here before as the hotel is handy for trips from south to north of the country. The bed was fine room a bit dated but clean. In the bar the service was good and the staff attentive
We had a meal in the resteraunt. Not enough staff to cope with the numbers and food running out so not all choices available and what we has was skimped on and not worth the cost which is a shame because on our last stay the food was great.
I was also disappointed that a service charge was put on the bill and i didnt notice till i paid or would have requested this be taken off

Handy location - reasonable price
I attended a race meeting at Croft circuit. Booked one night in Holiday Inn. About 15mins from the track. It's right on the A1(M) at Scotch Corner.
Room was smallish, but reasonable price. Bath has wall shower and handheld. No separate shower. Shampoo etc. provided.
The bar is ok, although not so cosy. Shuts at 11pm sharp.
Village nearby has a pub. You'll find it if you fancy eating out.

Great hotel for a pit stop
A great hotel for a comfortable and friendly place to stay. It’s not fancy, and a little tired in places, but it’s super clean, the beds are great and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of parking - just remember to put your reg in at reception. Overall a good pit stop
