Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park Reviews

We booked this place because it’s close to the Puffing Billy railway. It has free parking, good staff, good breakfast and super modern new room. As I know it was built 2 years ago so it’s quite new! Recommend it.

Everything is good except suddenly the lights went out for few seconds. And it happens twice in one night. Hopefully Hyatt will fix this issued. It should not have happened because it's Hyatt hotel.

The bar downstairs is very nice and has a great atmosphere at night. The hotel service and hygiene are worthy of the Hyatt grade, parking is also convenient, and the distance to the steam train is just right.

This hotel is a great place to stay if going to Phillip Island or taking the little steam train. Sufficient parking spaces and rooms without peculiar smell make people feel comfortable. Especially next door is a gas station, which also makes self-driving easier.

The service is super good. The hotel is clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful scenery outside the window. The breakfast is rich. The surrounding is very quiet. There are supermarkets, gas stations, Chinese supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is a good staying experience.

A modern new hotel with complete and new facilities. There is no problem except that it is far from the city.

The room was ordinary, but at 12:40 in the middle of the night, the room alarm sounded loudly, saying that there was danger and needed to be evacuated urgently. The child was awakened, and the alarm lasted for 10 minutes. When I came to the lobby, I was told that the guest accidentally touched it, but the hotel did not give any explanation. The compensation measure is to just go back to sleep. The solution for this kind of thing in domestic hotels will not be so casual. It is super bad and definitely not recommended!
