Very clean and quiet. Each room has a kitchen set including a dining table and 4 chairs (stove, refrigerator, microwave, dish washer, and cook wares, etc) We used a Premium room. It has two separate rooms with a queen bed. Very nice. Swimming pool and fitness room are very good and many people use them. Overall my family is very satisfied with the facility. Will visit again next time.

The couches had stains appeared dirty and overly used . Behind the couch was paper and no extra towels or blankets waiting on the room as requested I had to go back down to the desk and request some

The room is big enough and quiet, which is suitable for someone like me who wants to cook at any time. The location is also very convenient. There are supermarkets and fast food restaurants across the street, a few minutes walk, and a simple American breakfast.

I booked a stay for July and August of 2024, and booked it many months in advance. I received a written confirmation from Marriott. When I arrived, I was told my dates had to be changed (due to a new law in Schaumburg, IL) and as a result Marriott changed the daily rate for almost every day of my stay. I also had to find another place to stay for August. I complained to the General Manager of the hotel, but he is a puppet and unable to make any real decisions, so he did basically nothing. I then went to Marriott - as I am a 40 year customer - and so for they have done nothing. All I want is for Marriott to honor the prices on the reservation that was confirmed to me. I am afraid they will not do so, so I urge everyone to never stay at this hotel.
Response from Property: Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention, and we apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. Due to our village ordinance, § 129C, no hotel, motel, or extended-stay hotel within the village is allowed to accommodate guests for more than 29 consecutive days unless otherwise permitted by the village. Unfortunately, this restriction required changes to your reservation. While we understand your frustration, the changes were necessary to comply with local regulations. Regarding the pricing adjustments, we sincerely apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused. We recommend reaching out to Marriott’s customer service to discuss the rate changes further, as they manage the reservations and pricing. We will also follow up with Marriott on our end to ensure they are aware of your concerns. We appreciate your long-standing loyalty to Marriott and assure you that your feedback is important to us. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out directly. Thank you for your understanding, Management

Was here for work last month and the hotel is really nice. Ultra modern, has a great kitchen area in each of the rooms. Super large fridge. The fitness center is really big and has a ton of equipment. The indoor pool was the icing on the cake. Even a hotel bar so definite plus and recommend on my end.

Hotel was clean, comfy and well-maintained. Fitness center was large and well equipped. Breakfast was very good and included hard boiled eggs. We had a suite and there were 3 climate zones — very helpful. Comfy beds. Staff was all courteous & professional, particularly Rhiannon when we were making our reservation. David & Cliffanie made us feel welcome at check-in, and and GM Mohamed was great and really cares about the property. Would definitely stay here again.

The place was pretty new and next to other places. It is very convenient, location wise, if visiting the area for family or business reasons but it is too far to visit Chicago. The breakfast was ok but the customer service was pretty great. Sometimes parking can also be tough if there are many visitors.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The staff particularly Mohamed at the front desk was very kind and helpful. Hot breakfast that is warm and inviting with wide variety of dishes. Location, location and location…walking distance to the Woodfield Mall on a good day. In my opinion there is no better place to stay if you plan to stay in Schaumburg.

Level Members Only !! This hotel has to be competing with other Marriott hotels to be on the Elite list. Who knew, since it’s just a mediocre hotel. No downtown ambiance or elite look. Just Basic ! I booked our room 6 weeks ago for King bed w/ shower. Arrived at the hotel, to be given queen beds with tub. Then, the front desk told us that our reservation was given to a Member with level status. Really ? At the last moment of arrival. Not any notification prior, so that we could cancel to go to another hotel with the same basic amenities. Then, there was a front desk girl, very nosy that asked “what’s your reason for your stay here”. I was a bit shocked but I thought this person is rude and has no good upbringing. Just ignorant. Get some manners. No customer service skills at all. The other front office person didn’t speak English very well, but just kept smiling and no conversation made, other than asking me if I was a member of Marriott. Once again, staff lacking Customer Service skills. Just sad. Also wasn’t aware that you pay incidental deposit fee of $ 150.00 hold on your credit card. Which we did ! At this point I can’t understand how as the customer, you’re following all their rules and paying for things that you don’t want. Guess that’s the new rules of being mendacious to customers. Unbelievable ! I did speak with the GM Jason and explained to him that my husband and I really didn’t need queen beds nor did I need a tub since I use an assisted device and the tub is hard to get in, also our room view was facing a rooftop and another hotels windows, so that’s so creepy. Really couldn’t keep our curtains open for sunshine. Just precious ! The GM said he could help us by getting us another room with king bed and shower at another hotel without the kitchenette, or he’d give us a slight discount off our bill if we stayed there. So after a short deliberation, we kept the room after a long tiring day, not to argue. When we decide to travel again, we will never stay at Marriott to be treated this way, since we’re not on the Level Member List !

I made a reservation for a 2 bedroom- kitchen room for 6 nights three months in advance. Upon check-in, the manager told me they had given our room to someone with a higher reward status than us. I was furious, is this really how Marriott treats people ? The GM was offering us 2 adjoining rooms, but for the same price as the 2 rooms with a kitchen. I obviously declined. So to get our room we had to move to another hotel in Lombard, which the manager reserved for us. She unfortunately forgot to mention there was no pool , and the hotel in Lombard was on a toll road. We were travelling with our kids, and the lack of pool was a disapointment. If the manager had politely explained they were overbooked, she was sorry, and had offered us an incentive, we would have stayed. But to change our room last minute, treat us like dirt because our reward status is not high enough, she also never took responsability for this mistake. I'm sure she will answer a bland semi-apology but frankly, looking a other reviews, I can see we are not the only family disatisfied with this manager and the hotel in general.
Response from Property: Dear Lola123, I am really sorry that you did not have a pleasant experience at the hotel. It surely is unfortunate that we were overbooked by one of the elite members, we did send an E-mail ahead of time as soon as we were aware that the room type was overbooked to inform you of the situation. We also made arrangements so you do not have to look for other accommodations as we offered different options at the hotel but were not what you were looking for. Sincerely, Charul Dalal-Mody Dual General Manager

The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are spacious. There is a heated pool. Fitness Center is nice for a hotel gym, but you actually get a free pass to Lifetime Fitness down the street! Breakfast was also very nice.
