This hotel was in a nice location- quieter and right on the river. There were several unpleasant issues though…I had requested early check in, arrived one hour early and stood in a very long line, watching multiple people get checked in early, and then was told our room would be ready shortly…we waited in the lobby 20 mins and then the n the long line for our keys again. Then we were told there is a $36 fee each day that will be reimbursed when you eat at one of their restaurants…I had reservations and plans to eat other places. We didn’t want to eat there! We didn’t want to lose the $72, so we cancelled our plans to eat at one of their restaurants. I have a food allergy and explained this, asking if a particular salad would be safe. It was brought out and I questioned again that it looked like it could have my allergen in it. The waiter rushed back saying it wasn’t safe for me to eat after all! They then brought a salad with rotten strawberries on it and brown lettuce…while the manager was kind, it was an awful experience. Especially since we didn’t want to eat there in the first place. This is a horrible policy, we will never come back.
