The Alida, Savannah, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The Alida was amazing, along with their crew. Saint Pats was well done by all. Clean, charming rooms and location with everything you need within 5 mins walking distance. We’ll done Alida.

The staff, from (roof) top to bottom, literally, was exceptional, helpful and friendly! The room was clean, spacious and so nice and comfortable. ALL of the amenities (there were so many) were fantastic. We took the bikes out one day and had so much fun. The drinks and food were top rate and the location was just where we wanted to make this a great walking vacation - steps from the river and close to all of the beautiful squares and parks. The Best!

My stay at The Alida in Savannah exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel's charm and elegance. The location is perfect for exploring Savannah's rich culture and beautiful architecture. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I'm obsessed with the window nooks! From the beautiful pool to the Lost Square (rooftop) with amazing views, and the water stations on every floor - you really can't beat this hotel! I can't wait to bring my family back to this charming city & hotel!

We have stayed at The Alida multiple times a year for a while now. It is a great hotel. We love the quaintness. The hotel has a cool, but hip vibe. The champagne happy hour is fabulous. The Lost Square and Trade Room are some of our favorite bars anywhere. We love breakfast and the smash burger at the Rhett. In our most recent visit (3 nights) our room wasn’t ready at 4:30pm. It wasn’t ready until around 5:30. Not a huge deal. But we are returning guests. Multiple night stay. Very upgraded room purchased. Getting the car from valet took 40 minutes one morning. It wasn’t always that slow. But it was always slow. Housekeeping didn’t come one day and I received a text around 3:30 that it was because we had Do Not Disturb sign out. I replied that we did not have the DND out and please attend to the room. We had back to back events that day. When we returned to hotel, around 5 it was still not attended. When we returned that evening housekeeping had been. Thankfully. All these are small things. Our room faces River Street (water view). Unfortunately, it was also directly across from Electric Moon. Which is lively during the day but really gets going around dark. And they keep going and going and going. It finally settles down around 2am. The noise from Electric Moon combined with the street noise from River Street kept us up all night. I think we will try another hotel on our next trip.

We stayed here on a girls trip and had the best time! The rooms are spacious and the beds are so comfy. We picked this hotel because of its location AND double king beds. Extra perks are that the hotel smells amazing, they give free food and drink vouchers at the downstairs bar, and the ground floor restaurant, Rhett, is incredible! Olivia was super helpful on the phone and Sean was very accommodating in person. Oh and the hotel is right by stop 14 on Old Savannah Tours which makes the trolley ride so easy. Definitely stay here if you come to Savannah.

Everyone was super friendly and our room was great. We only stayed one night but everything was wonderful. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable! Next time we visit Savannah we will stay here for sure! Oh and the shampoo and conditioner was amazing! I honestly want to purchase it for home!

This hotel stinks. Literally smells terrible. Was on floor 4. A mix of wet carpet, sewer, and an old basement. Not impressed with rooms either. Pretty dirty and nothing real unique for a boutique hotel/Autograph collection. The valet was a ripoff and usually had to wait for the car. The one Bright spot, the restaurant Rhett was fantastic.

Very nice property overlooking the river with a great location. Converted factory and rooms are spacious and clean. Check in was convenient. Breakfast was good but limited options which we were fine with. Rooftop bar is very cool and comfortable. We had Cat as a server twice during our stay and she was awesome. Management communication is not great. Gave us two vouchers when we checked in and said we could use them anywhere. One of the vouchers had a past date on it that they acknowledged was an error when we went to use it. Then servers told us that vouchers were only good in lobby bar and that was a change they made, but front desk hadn’t adjusted messaging. Props to restaurant and bar that they honored them.

For the price point of this hotel, it would be nice to have real creamers to make with the coffee in the room. The paper products were super cheap. No cups for bathroom, just 2 wine glasses. Those are the little things that bug me when you spend so much money to stay at a higher end hotel. The pool was max. 3 feet deep, so no swimming, just a wading/sit in pool which is odd. The roof top bar was cute for sunset. We did breakfast once, and the service was super slow so we didn't go back to the restaurant. I didn't realize it was a pet friendly property, and wish I had requested a floor with no pets, since we had dogs barking fairly early in the morning. As a gold plus Marriott member, I received no welcome or acknowledgement. Overall I was underwhelmed.
