The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

Hands down the best trip and experience!! We have visited several Ritz properties in the southeast and this was my favorite! The service was amazing! The brother bellmen Todd & Curtis provided great recommendations daily & ensured we had everything we needed! Jalen at the beach club was next level with his friendly personality and going above and beyond for all guest on the beach. Can’t say enough great things about the property and the town ! We will be back!

Booked spa services at the Ritz Sarasota during vacation. Previously visited the Spa at the Ritz in Orlando where the experience was exceptional. Ritz Sarasota Spa was subpar at best. Even the spa at the Orlando Hilton was a much better experience then the Sarasota Ritz Carlton. The jacuzzi was not available, the amenities included a small sauna and even smaller healing room that they barely got working a day ago. The relaxation waiting room was right as you entered the spa with constant traffic. No warm blankets, no aromatherapy wraps while you wait, just a dirty chaise. The service staff was nice but the manager was very passive aggressive and refused to make any adjustments or provide any level of customer service when we were very dissatisfied with the condition of the spa or so called amenities. Would definitely not recommend.

After hurricane Milton I was displaced from my home here in Florida needed a hotel to stay in. My concern was which hotel was not affected by the storm. There was only one. This one, supposedly. I was Completely mislead upon booking as to the operational functions of the hotel after the storm. I was told everything is in working order except the elevators. That was a complete lie as the pools were down, the hallways had dehumidifiers because of the musty smell, the dining area had no lighting, there was no Wi-Fi or cable, the food was terrible, the staircase to get to the rooms were a nightmare and overall the exorbitant price I paid was the same as if it all functioned. Bait and switch. Shame on you Ritz Carlton. Shame on you.

I want to express my gratitude to the entire staff at this hotel for their exceptional service and hospitality. We were displaced from the hurricane and EVERYONE was incredible! The food was unbelievably delicious! Room service was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was great. The Bell Desk and valets were perfect! The stress of being forced from home was overwhelming and everyone here made us feel so very supported.

This property of ritz Carlton is a shame to the company. They damaged our car during valet services. Afterwards instead of taking care of our damage they just ignored all communications from our end. Pathetic customer service. This was the worst experience I had .

We had a great stay here. Some of the reviews made me second guess our upcoming stay, but I am glad we moved forward. The hotel is great, the staff is even better. Is this the newest Ritz out there? No. However, it's the nicest spot in Sarasota. The dining is great and the beach club is the perfect day to spend the day. We were there off season in August, some of the schools had just started. On a few days there were only a handful of guests at the beach club pool area. It was great! We used our rental car to get to the beach club so we wouldn't need to wait for the shuttle. It's a short drive. Such a really nice relaxing stay! I will say, the new St. Regis will give this Ritz a run once it opens this fall. It looks amazing, so they will need to step up their game.

Perfect for Xmas with husband no kids and delish room service. The beach club was sunny and 80” Dec 26th. Just went back Aug 9th they are doing some remodeling what’s been done looks great and is beautiful. Jack Dusty’s is almost done ✅ had a perfect birthday meal with girlfriends and great overall weekend in longboat!

Saw some bad reviews that had me worried prior to my stay but fortunately my experience was great and I would definitely recommend. It is a very, very nice property with staff that are wonderful and extremely helpful. The room was very nice and very clean with a large balcony with a water view. The beach club was spectacular and was one of the nicest beach experiences I have ever had. Extremely large and beautiful pool with a large hot tub and a tiki bar and full restaurant. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the beach was private and really amazing. Get there early because it fills up quick and can get pretty crazy in the afternoon. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
