Jozankei View Hotel: A Return to Relaxation and Delight Having recently returned from another stay at the Jozankei View Hotel, I couldn't resist sharing my positive experience once again. This wasn't my first visit, and it certainly reaffirmed my love for this incredible resort. Highlights: Indulgent Buffet Dinners: The star of the show remains the phenomenal buffet dinners. The variety and quality of dishes, spanning Japanese, Western, and even Chinese cuisines, is truly impressive. It's a feast for the senses and the stomach, leaving you fully satisfied and wanting more. Water Paradise: The Water Kingdom Lagoon is a haven for water lovers of all ages. The massive indoor space features various slides, pools, and attractions, providing endless fun and entertainment. Soothing Hot Springs: What's a trip to Jozankei without the hot springs? The hotel boasts vast indoor and outdoor baths, each with its unique charm and atmosphere. Immersing myself in the steaming waters, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, was pure bliss. Delicious Breakfast Spreads: Breakfasts were just as impressive as the dinners, offering a diverse selection of Japanese and Western dishes to fuel your day's adventures. Japanese Charm: I particularly enjoyed the lovely Japanese-style room. The traditional tatami mats, futon bedding, and overall ambiance instantly transported me to another world, enhancing the authentic Japanese experience. Overall: My return to the Jozankei View Hotel was just as fantastic as my first visit. From the delightful buffet meals and incredible water park to the relaxing hot springs and charming Japanese-style rooms, every aspect contributed to a memorable and rejuvenating stay. If you're seeking a luxurious escape with exceptional amenities and a true taste of Japanese hospitality, look no further than the Jozankei View Hotel. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back for a third visit myself!

Jozankei Onsen
The stay was overall above average. Suggestions for the hotel are 1. Usb ports or travel adapters in the room 2. Reception should ask for our dietary preferences when we check in. Couldn't eat the beef dish provided during dinner 3. Drinks counter at the audio area can be extended to 12 midnight as there aren't really anything to do after onsen 4. Feeder bus timing from Sapporo station can be earlier so we can have more time to walk around the parks and vicinity prior to check in. We had to rush to the park as it gets dark very early during autumn.
Chateraise Gateaux Kingdom Sapporo Hotel & Spa Resort

Although the hotel is older, it is very clean and tidy. Please note that water slides require additional charges, and you need to pay attention to the opening hours of the outdoor swimming pool. Since we stayed in June, the weather was not too hot, so although the indoor swimming pool has warm water, it was still a little cold. It is recommended that if you have children, it would be better to wear long-sleeved swimsuits. On the contrary, the hot spring part is more surprising, with an outdoor independent bathing location. The indoor bathing areas are very spacious. There are also many places to wash up. It is also worth mentioning that it is highly recommended to purchase dinner. The crab legs for dinner will definitely make the hotel worth the price! Because their crab legs have a lot of meat, are very fresh, and don’t taste like ice cream! There’s no need to worry about not refilling, it’s always full!

The hotel is not particularly new, but it is generally clean, tidy and comfortable. The location is super good, between Tanukikoji 5 and 6. You can go shopping and eat downstairs. There is a bus directly to New Chitose Airport opposite. It costs 1,300 per person including luggage fee. It runs every 20-30 minutes and takes 1.5 hours. The arrival time at New Chitose Airport is very slow, usually 1-3 hours in peak season, and it takes 1.5 hours to check in luggage + exit. Be sure to arrive at the airport three hours in advance! ! !

The hotel is very new and clean. The staff are very friendly. The set meals are very exquisite. Breakfast is a set meal + buffet. The tatami in the room is very comfortable. Each room faces the opposite mountain. The room has a private bath. It is so comfortable to be surrounded by greenery while taking a private bath. B1 has an outdoor public bath and massage seats. There are not many people in this season. The skin care products used in the hotel are kose. The room does not provide skin care products. You can get what you need for free at the supermarket on the first floor. The hotel breakfast and dinner time need to be reserved when checking in. The front desk will ask. Check-in also gives an eco-friendly bag and a night tour ticket to Futami Park, which is very worth going. Overall, it is very good.

Susukino
Mercure Sapporo is conveniently located between Susukino (Namboku line) and Hosuisusukino (Toho line). The room booked (deluxe double) was spacious (over 40 square meters) and the breakfast selection was decent. My children loved the food! Jump onto the Tozai line at Odori and you can visit Shiroi Koibito park after a short walk. Jump onto the JR line at Sapporo and you can reach to further places like Otaru or Noboribetsu. The service staff are friendly and helpful. Certainly recommended if you’re coming with young kids.
