Sanya Jiyang District Hotels

We stayed for 8 nights in Baohong hotel. Here are the pros: - good location, nearby restaurants and nice beach - clean rooms, always fast and on time Cons: - the breakfast is terrible. It’s always cold and no variations. For 118 CNY you could have created something better. - the bed is terrible. Feels like you are laying on a wooden plank. - no English whatsoever, learn Chinese 🤦♂️ - no private beach as it was before, nowhere to lay down - swimming pool doesn’t get clean at all, it’s super dirty with leaves and grass

From my client: I stayed in the modern part of the hotel on the 13th floor. The view was stunning, the room was huge, and there were many amenities inside. The strangest thing was that the room lacked a refrigerator and kitchen utensils. In December (during my stay), the pool was completely closed, and there was no information about it. In fact, you find out about it not at the reception, but at the pool itself. As an experienced traveler who always moves around on my own, the hotel's location was quite advantageous. There are many small cafes nearby, a long beach, a beautiful wooden promenade, and several public transport stops, which are a 5-15 minute walk away. The hotel has private parking, which is convenient if you have rented a car. What can I say about breakfast? The reception and breakfast restaurant are located in the old part of the hotel. There is little lighting, the decor is old, and there is little aesthetic appeal. The cuisine is Chinese with elements of European food. Tourists who bought package tours and stayed in this part of the hotel had much worse rooms (the rooms were not renovated at all, the carpets were old, the wall paint was not great) than I did, who booked accommodation through this app. I would like to separately mention the work of the staff. The employees only speak Chinese, and they have no desire to assist you if you are a foreigner because they seem shocked and totally confused by you. Upon check-in, they did not provide any additional gifts that were provided by Trip.com when purchasing accommodation. As they say, the law there is one: if you need something, you have to insist on it using a Chinese translator and supporting documents. By the way, upon check-in, you have to leave a deposit, and most importantly, keep the deposit receipt so that you can get it back later.

The Four Seasons Ocean Courtyard Hotel Sanya is a nice destination for those seeking a convenient location in the city, a pleasant stay, reasonable prices and great amenities. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times, and each stay has been wonderful. Whenever I visit Sanya, this hotel is always on my list. The check-in process is smooth, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the balcony offers stunning panoramic views where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. One of the highlights of staying here is the breathtaking infinity pool, absolutely love the views! Additionally, the hotel provides a small playground for kids and a fish pool. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Sanya.

I have been living in Harman Hotel for 22 days . The service is very good , convenient location . I just fell in love with the bakery there, bread is really fresh and delicious. I would like to say special thank you for Guest Service officer Mr Chen who can speak Russian for his attentive service , Office Manager gentleman who wear white uniform at the reception , unfortunately , I forgot his name for helping me to change my room , I appreciate. Further more thank you to Guest Service Manager who helped me to handle my dress issue in the shop, so kind of you. Ms 西西 who works at night and helped me to upgrade my room upon my arrival. Sisi at guest service for delicious night fruits and young lady trainee on the reception.

The hotel is very old, the room we stayed in definitely needs renovation, and probably so do other rooms. The view is nice, though. The biggest disappointment was “private beach”. As the hotel staff pointed out, all the beaches in Sanya are now public, so no private beach whatsoever. The only thing the hotel could offer is a private gate to the beach, which was only open for one day during our stay, then it got closed because of some construction works at the beach. So, to get to the beach, we needed to take a detour through the main street which was awfully inconvenient. Just imagine going all the way back covered in sand and everything😡 The hotel has two swimming pools, one of them was closed. The other one was fine, no problem here. All in all, the hotel was quite a disappointment, not going back there again.

I have had a short stay for 3days but what impressed me the most were the very friendly and professional staffs. They took the initiative to move things around so even when I arrived early, they were able to settle me in ahead of schedule. We connected thru the stay over WeChat and they answered all my questions very quickly on matters of hotel amenities, room services, and places around the area. Overall a great place to be when you visit Sanya.

For the Price, this hotel is good, we had the family suite which was a good size and clean. The swimming pool is OK but not as large as appear in the pictures and can get crowded early evening. Very close to the beach which is clean but does have restricted swimming areas. Couple of points to consider, the swimming pool closes 12:30-15:30 daily for some reason unknown, also the pool will not open if raining !!! Breakfast choice is quite limited for both Western and Local food, I asked for cold milk to be told they do not have any, only hot milk available !!!! We visited this area 3 years go and dined at the nearby Dadonghai Bar/Restaurant area which was excellent, a long boardwalk area full of different spots to dine, drink and relax, unfortunately this area is under heavy restoration and very little choice available for Bars/Restaurants.

The hotel is a little dated and you can tell it used to be nice and modern. The rooms could use an update or a little “zhuzh”though. The amenities are good and the grounds are well kept. The staff is also amazing and were helpful whenever I had problems. I do get you’re paying for the Marriott brand but compared to other Marriott owned hotels, this hotel is just ok. A bit underwhelming and overpriced. Breakfast was good with a variety of options from Western to Chinese. The restaurant also had tasty, flavourful food I tried for dinner. Big up to this . I was upgraded to the pool access room which was nice, I had escaped cold Shanghai for a warmer place, ended up not swimming because the pool was a little cold. Wish it was heated( maybe the kiddy pool was). Sanya was unfortunately gloomy and cold so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the ocean. Overall the stay was just okay. Nice if you want easy access to a beach you can actually swim in.

The few days I spent at Junji Seaview Hotel, Dadonghai, Sanya were the most unforgettable moments of my vacation. First of all, I would like to thank the front desk staff for upgrading me to an invincible sea view room. The view from the room is really great. When I wake up every morning, I can see the magnificent sea view at the first glance, which makes me completely immersed in the embrace of the sea. The hotel is newly renovated, the room facilities are very new, and the smart configuration of the whole house is really advanced and full of technology. And the infinity pool on the third floor is definitely a highlight. While swimming and enjoying the beautiful scenery, it feels like time has stopped. The location of the hotel is also very good. There is the seaside downstairs. You can go to the sea at any time and feel the charm of the sea. The breakfast buffet is very rich in variety and provides a variety of delicious food, which makes me full of expectations every day. This experience at Junji Seaview Hotel was really great. I will choose this place again next time I come to Sanya and look forward to enjoying the wonderful time here again.

I don’t usually bother myself writing reviews for the hotels. But it was such a pleasure to stay in DaDongHai hotel! Clean and nice, the staff really went above and beyond helping me with any little problem I had. Loved their small but SUPER clean pool with a beer bar nearby. Also, they got probably the best hotel gym I ever worked out in. Lots of equipment for strength training and cardio. Very close to the beach and other places to go for food or a drink. Very friendly and generous room cleaning ladies. Thanks for their work! Next time I’m in Sanya, I won’t even look up other hotels - will come back to DaDongHai.
