"Choosing this hotel for my Sanya trip was such a smart decision! The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the sea, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with excellent natural light and views. From my sea-view room, opening the window revealed nothing but the clear blue sea and sky – the sea breeze was wonderfully refreshing. The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, creating a great atmosphere. The pool was clean and comfortable too. The staff were warm, polite, and provided thoughtful, attentive service, making for an excellent stay. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Overall, the value for money is superb. It's my top choice for a relaxing getaway, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sanya. Highly recommend!"

"This is our second stay at this hotel, and it was just as satisfying as the first, which is why we chose it again for our vacation. The overall living experience at the hotel is very comfortable, the room offers expansive views, and the sea view is particularly beautiful, making for a truly pleasant stay.
We heard that an undersea tunnel and a grand theater are currently under construction near the hotel, part of a Sanya municipal project, which is completely understandable. The hotel's breakfast buffet is excellent, with a rich variety of dishes and great flavors – we were very happy with it.
As we traveled during the May Day holiday, there were quite a few guests, so a larger crowd was to be expected. The overall service was 10/10 thoughtful and attentive, and the value for money is excellent. We're always happy to choose this place whenever we come to Sanya and will definitely return!"

No. 2 of Premium Hotels in Hainan"We stayed at a hotel near the airport for our first night of our honeymoon, then spent the second and third nights at the Westin Haitang Bay. The experience was fantastic, especially thanks to our butler, Ella Chen, who provided superb service. We didn't encounter any of the issues we'd read about online, largely because we had such a reliable butler. The beach felt quite close, and the shuttle service made getting there very convenient – much easier than I expected, and the scenery was indeed beautiful. The service was excellent, with quick responses. I'd also recommend booking through Ctrip! My experience was completely different from what some posts on 'certain social media platforms' claimed about poor service, which might be due to booking platforms or different butlers. The butler, restaurant staff, front desk, and housekeeping were all very polite, courteous, and quick to respond, except for when it was really busy and there were queues. I especially appreciated the free swimming rings and armbands; I even learned to swim at the hotel, haha! The pool was very clean; I noticed them changing the water in the pools at night. Part of the main pool also had shade cover during sunny times, which I only discovered just before checking out, a bit of a shame. The food was also good and quite satisfying. We got a complimentary photo shoot. I paid for makeup, which I was very happy with, but the quick-edit photos turned out too fake, which I wasn't pleased with. I felt like it wasted my entire morning, especially being out in the bright sun, which was tough, and we didn't get many good shots because they don't give you the original photos – it's either originals or quick edits, which was a bit disappointing. However, it was complimentary, so it didn't affect the overall hotel experience. Aside from the photos, everything else was absolutely perfect! I did a lot of research beforehand, and it definitely didn't disappoint! A big shout-out again to our butler, Ella Chen; my partner even said we've developed an emotional connection to this hotel, haha!"

No. 3 of 4-Star Select Hotels in Hainan"This hotel presents a bit of a mixed bag, with some aspects being truly top-notch. Firstly, its location is absolutely unbeatable in Dadonghai, being the closest hotel to the sea. I stayed on the 2nd floor of Building B, in a central room with a stunning 180-degree ocean view – the scenery was incredible. The path from the hotel to the beach also exuded a wonderful resort vibe. Additionally, the bedding was very comfortable, and upon check-in, a bellhop helped carry my luggage to the room.
On the other hand, there were some significantly negative points. The room size was incredibly small, and the overall decor felt dated, almost like a guesthouse. There were also a lot of Russians, making it impossible to snag a sun lounger. The soundproofing was poor; I could hear people talking in the courtyard outside my room every morning. The complimentary travel photography session was also a letdown – the photographer had a terrible attitude. After arriving at the agreed time, I was told to wait another half an hour, which felt very disrespectful. I ended up leaving without taking any photos, and no one contacted me afterward. In summary, it's a hotel with very prominent pros and cons."

No. 1 of Premium Hotels in Hainan"Along Yalong Bay, hotels are lined up one after another, and with a few exceptions, their prices are all quite similar. The choice of which hotel to pick really comes down to personal preference.
1. **Choice:** If you're looking for a quieter stay, Hilton or Marriott would be good options, as they don't have too many organized activities. If you want to relax while your kids have plenty of space to burn off energy and learn some skills, MGM is the place to be. They have a wide variety of pools and activities. My nine-year-old learned to surf in just an hour!
2. **Sand:** Lying on the beach is okay, but forget about snorkeling to see fish or anything – there's nothing there, and the sand is quite coarse and uncomfortable underfoot. The lack of fine sand is a big downside.
3. **Activities:** There are lots of activities, which means lots of kids, making it incredibly noisy.
4. **Breakfast:** It's decent, but after 8 AM, you'll have to queue to get in because it gets too crowded.
5. **Afternoon Tea:** The most impressive part for me was the cakes at the chocolate house – they were delicious! Not those mushy, soft types!
6. **Milk Tea:** I found it to be mediocre. The pearls were rock hard, and the tea was very astringent!
7. **Accommodation:** The room was quite spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated. For example, the power outlets and the light control panel. The worst part was that the toilet in my room was leaking, which was really annoying...
8. **Photos:** The beach looks beautiful for photos on a clear day."

The room itself was spacious and bright, with a balcony perfect for enjoying the scenery. It stayed cool thanks to both air conditioning and a fan, which was great since it was quite hot outside.
The service was excellent. Breakfast was included, and on the second day, they even gave us a complimentary bottle of red wine. The hotel also offers a little train ride, which is a lovely way to explore the property at a relaxed pace.
The swimming pools are also very good. There's an irregularly shaped pool perfect for a leisurely dip, and a rectangular pool that's open until 10 PM. Free armbands are available, and there are plenty of lounge chairs to relax on after a swim.
In the evenings, you can go crabbing by the sea. The hotel provides free sand-digging toys, which are more than enough for catching crabs.

The garden features beautifully arranged swimming pools surrounded by lush tropical greenery, making it incredibly photogenic whether you're relaxing or snapping pictures for social media.
The room was spotless, with soft and comfortable bedding, and a well-designed bathroom with separate wet and dry areas. Even the toiletries were high-quality. The facilities are comprehensive, including a gym, swimming pools, and a kids' club. There's plenty of space for friends to enjoy activities together, so you'll never be bored.
I have to give a special shout-out to the butler service! They proactively contacted me even before check-in and thoughtfully provided welcome fruits upon arrival. Any requests we had were met with incredibly prompt responses, which made us feel completely at ease."

No. 20 of Scenic Hotels in Sanya"I just can't help but rave about the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay! First off, the ambiance – you feel the grandeur the moment you step in. Both the lounge and the gardens exude a high-end feel; every shot you take looks like it belongs in a magazine. The design is incredibly thoughtful, for instance, the bedside switches are conveniently placed, and the lighting is smartly sectioned so you're not blinded if you get up at night.
My absolute favorite part was the large balcony. Lying on the long sofa out there, enjoying the sea breeze with some tea and fruit – it was just bliss! The suite itself was spacious and beautiful, with clearly defined living and sleeping areas, making it feel incredibly open and bright. The bathtub and hot water were perfect; a hot bath and a show at night just melted away all the day's fatigue. The bedding was super comfortable – soft yet supportive – I just hit the pillow and slept soundly until morning. The AC temperature was just right, making for a very pleasant stay.
An unexpected bonus was having a kitchen, which made it easy to whip up a simple seafood meal. And I have to praise the pool – the water was so clear you could see the tiles at the bottom. Staff were constantly maintaining it every day, so swimming felt completely safe.
The breakfast was abundant and incredibly delicious, especially the noodles, which were thin and crispy – so good.
Oh, and for parents with furry friends, listen up! The hotel has a dedicated, large, and clean grassy area for pets to play. It’s incredibly thoughtful!
All in all, this experience was absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Sanya!"
