The 4-person dorm I stayed in was good (except for my dorm mate’s noisy phone videos on speaker… which is why I switched to a private room). The desk under the bunk bed was nice, and the A/C was cold.
The private rooms had a serious plumbing problem. Under the sink, the plumbing was not sealed, so water from the drain would flow out and onto the floor UNDER the sink cabinet. So the whole area under the sink was likely soaked and rotted, which explained why the room reeked of mold.
When I found this problem, they switched me to a neighboring room, which still smelled of mold, but slightly less. Probably because they turned off the sink in this room.
So for the dorm room it’s great (though the cleanliness could be better - the guy who swept the room did so very causally, using only one arm), but I cannot recommend their private rooms.

The atmosphere is great and staff is very friendly. Although they do not speak English. The place reminded me of nice European hostels. Quite cheap but quality is great. We. Only used it for a few hours to swim in Houhai. But if we needed to stay overnight it would be no problem. We saw a great yoga class.

Great location near the beach and street food. Room was cleaned daily and showers were clean and nice. Front desk stuff really friendly and nice. Would stay again

It's OK. The lady at the front desk is very welcoming and helps with luggage. There is a place to dry clothes upstairs. It's quite clean. I'm quite satisfied with this room at this price. It's also close to the beach.

I stayed there for 5 nights. On the fourth day, the owner thoughtfully changed the sheets and quilt covers. It is very close to the beach at the pier, just a 2-3 minute walk away. It is very quiet at night and suitable for backpackers who don't like the rustic atmosphere of Dehai.

I had a ticket for the next day after 10 PM and didn't know where to go, but they told me to just stay in the room. I was so touched! The bathroom was also clean, the bed was perfect, and it was bright! The accommodation is excellent, and the price is excellent value. It's very convenient to the bus and subway, and the hostel staff keeps the place very clean!

This is probably the cleanest youth hostel in Sanya!
It's incredibly quiet here, and the views of nearby Yalong Bay are beautiful. There's also a swimming pool. I stayed here for one day, then went to Houhai for two days, and then came back for a three-day stay.
