La Costa Hotel

This hotel is very nice, but the restaurant on the ground floor is very noisy and the breakfast quality is too poor. Everything else is okay.

The hotel is ok. A problem with black mold in some rooms is evident and a damp smell in many. During the outbreak they served food but it wasn’t cheap and they couldn’t make changes to assist with soy sauce allergy. Also. The breakfast was terrible for a foreigner. Literally nothing edible besides rice congee. The did refund me when I wanted to check out early which is commendable and the rooms are quite nice albeit old. the pool was fantastic

Stayed here many times. It has deteriorated since the pandemic with fewer staff for upkeep. Simple hotel with a ok breakfast. Beach is very close along with restaurants. Rooms are clean and spacious with daily cleaning. The only problem was the beach area. Few chairs were available and were locked up. The local vendors use the chairs as a home base and take up most of the unlocked chairs. Some days they would let us use them and other days we had to wait for hotel staff to come unlock the other chairs. One day they asked a couple to pay for a chair as we waited, after some haggling they gave us a chair since we were staying at the hotel. It was a small problem, but a unneeded hassle on our holiday. We would stay here again and hope they clean up the beach area.
