Swissotel looks more like a Chinese hotel with their architectural design than a Swiss hotel. Notwithstanding, the hotel is excellent centrally located connected with the walking streets with plenty of cafes and restaurants as well as shops.
Grace from front desk was so kind to arrange early check in for us having escaped the recent typhoon.
Our room was so big and the beds were very comfy. We liked the pillows too. Bathroom was huge and facilities pretty new. Staff were really friendly and professional. Highly recommend this hotel in Yalong Bay with easy access to the Square and beach.

Location is very good. You can find different cafe,shops right you leave the hotel. In the same time it is very convenient and silent hotel,bu it is a little bit old.
Breakfast is not very various, but you can find tasty noodles,bacon,eggs,fruits. I suggest to try the dinner, it is costs about 260rmb for two adults but you can take wine and see what to choose to eat: locals do not understand what the spicy means, for them not spicy is spicy for foreigners.
The pool is very pleasant. On the beach you can take the towels and sunbeds. The second is often occupied)
The main issue it is the humidity and smell inside the room. The air conditioning does not smell really good too. But the price of the hotel is adequate.

The hotel is located at best location in Yalong bay. I love the huge swimming pool in the hotel. Also the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants.

Location is as central as it can get. You have direct access to all sorts of eateries and shopping outlets at the hotel's doorstep. Pool is large, room is functional, price is very affordable. This Swissotel is rebranded from a previous Chinese resort so it has a bit of history and age.

Nice hotel, a bit old. Room is generally big and comfortable… but there is no fridge in the room. Cleaning service is done well everyday.
