We stayed for 8 nights in Baohong hotel. Here are the pros: - good location, nearby restaurants and nice beach - clean rooms, always fast and on time Cons: - the breakfast is terrible. It’s always cold and no variations. For 118 CNY you could have created something better. - the bed is terrible. Feels like you are laying on a wooden plank. - no English whatsoever, learn Chinese 🤦♂️ - no private beach as it was before, nowhere to lay down - swimming pool doesn’t get clean at all, it’s super dirty with leaves and grass

The hotel is relatively new with big rooms: big balcony and shower room. A big and clean pool is a plus. It is possible to check out at 6 pm for the 50% room price (no discount). The rooms were cleaned every day. There is some noise from the street for the sensitive people. Overall recommended

Grace did a great job as butler for our stay at Atlantis Sanya Hotel. We are very happy with her service. Hotel amenities were fantastic, and customer service went above and beyond when we had issues with the air conditioning in our room. We will certainly stay again!

Great location, nice city view, large bathtub on the balcony and breakfast served till 1pm. The room has no fridge but one can be requested, ice is an issue as they only will give you a bag saying their ice machine is too small as an excuse. The staff at the hotel are clueless, nobody knows how to do anything and give you attitude, very disrespectful, difficult to deal with and infuriating. Had our breakfast table cleaned when we went to the bathroom including our personal belongings and room key, when staff couldn’t locate our belongings we found them after we dug around in the rubbish. Horrible experience overall. My wife was not so impressed with her birthday getaway to say the least.

The hotel has a great location for families,for a single person it's a bit far from all the fun (but solvable by Didi).The room was really nice, super clean,the staff friendly, fast&easy to get to the airport, and there were some nice restaurants walking distance. Breakfast was totally worth it (58rmb), good selection of Chinese and western food.You just need to cross the road to be at the beach which was awesome!The pool is placed over the entrance so it gives a nice view, it's quite small tho and there are only like six sunbeds. Overall, I would def recommend it :)

This time I went to Sanya and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Tianli Bay. I was very satisfied with my best friend’s birthday. After communicating in advance, we prepared roses and cakes. The hotel is very close to several attractions. The West Island Tianya Haijiao and Tianya Town are not the city center, but they are independent. It is very quiet to enjoy a beach here. We should focus on the strong Amway housekeeper Wang Jing. He is very considerate and warm before arriving. During the stay, all reasonable needs are met in a timely manner. When leaving, he proactively asks if there is any help. Thank you very much. This hotel is very cost-effective and highly recommended.

It’s a great hotel. I booked here because of the rainbow bridges direct access to the beach - the booking is non refundable. Perfect location. Porters and kitchen staff and chef are polite and delightful. I booked a hotel package . Which included a yacht trip . Also upon checking the website it said languages spoken Chinese and English. Upon check in it was lovely that they allowed us into the hotel room earlier than 3pm . The welcome was a bit cold. No smiles just nervous dealing with English speakers . It was not told to us upon arrival about the construction and no access to the rainbow Bridge from the hotel which leads to the beach . In the room there was a note of apology in Chinese . Seeing that the main reason for us booking here was direct access to the beach it not already dampened our reservation/ which is no fault of the hotel if it’s government regulations. However prior to check in I believe an email should have been sent stating that . As the Bridge is the main attraction. So if you’re booking there now bear in mind construction and no easy access. Beach rules no entering the water after 6 pm even though sun is still up : The hotel doesn’t provide tea cups for the tea they provide in the room . We needed to use glass cups which is used to drink cold liquids . Foreigners make tea using g boiling water so we need a cup with ceramic handles at least . When I asked for one from the kitchen I didn’t receive a reply from The reception desk and I was told by house keeping there was none . The dilemma with the inclusive day yacht trip was only resolved due to Trip.com help . They treated us well after the complaint of them not being able to compensate or include us. The trip was pleasant . The breakfast buffet and staff are pleasant . The dinner buffet was great and the kitchen staff very accommodating and welcoming. The beach umbrellas were no in use . No beach towels provided . No bedroom slippers except the rubber ones for shower/ beach .

The hotel is very old, the room we stayed in definitely needs renovation, and probably so do other rooms. The view is nice, though. The biggest disappointment was “private beach”. As the hotel staff pointed out, all the beaches in Sanya are now public, so no private beach whatsoever. The only thing the hotel could offer is a private gate to the beach, which was only open for one day during our stay, then it got closed because of some construction works at the beach. So, to get to the beach, we needed to take a detour through the main street which was awfully inconvenient. Just imagine going all the way back covered in sand and everything😡 The hotel has two swimming pools, one of them was closed. The other one was fine, no problem here. All in all, the hotel was quite a disappointment, not going back there again.

It was a pleasure to stay at Barry hotel. It's located 5 minutes away from the sea. Despite the fact that it's not the first line, you can enjoy the view from your spacious balcony, while having breakfast. We arrived really late due to the flight delay, but found a worker at the reception desk, who checked us in immediately, which was really nice if him, cause we're foreigners and normally it takes ages to check in. In the morning we asked for free Kate check out, case we arrived at 4 am in the morning only, and the hotel staff immediately agreed, which made us extremely happy, cause we were absolutely exhausted. The hotel is situated next to a big number of local and foreign ships and restaurants and easy to find, so I highly recommend you to stay there if you don't mind being a bit further from the beach! Will definitely come there again.

I have had a short stay for 3days but what impressed me the most were the very friendly and professional staffs. They took the initiative to move things around so even when I arrived early, they were able to settle me in ahead of schedule. We connected thru the stay over WeChat and they answered all my questions very quickly on matters of hotel amenities, room services, and places around the area. Overall a great place to be when you visit Sanya.
