Very good. We enjoyed the view of the whole Haitian Bay from our room. The beach is near, and the building has 45th floor. Our room was at 38th floor. It has free car parking just a few minutes walking distance.

Overall this time at the Rosewood Sanya was truly exceptional. As an avid admirer of the Rosewood brand, I was delighted to stay in one of their pool rooms. The attentive service of our butler, Nanncy, both during our stay and with her pre-arrival communications, was incredibly heartwarming. The breakfast spread was abundant and indulgent, while the infinity pool offered breathtaking views. However, the only minor drawback was the excessive softness of the bed. Nonetheless, I've already arranged with Nanncy to ensure firmer bedding arrangements upon my next visit. A truly memorable experience encapsulated in just a few words.

1. It is cost-effective and has a homey atmosphere, but it is two different things from the hotel's service, just as there is an essential difference between a buffet and a banquet. 2. The room is very new and easy to access. 3. The service is very good. You need to swipe your card to go upstairs. , you don’t need to go to the front desk when you leave the hotel. In fact, you should do good hygiene before leaving. 4. We both booked 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. I like to do some things in the apartment when I have nothing to do, and then go out to play when the rain stops. 5. The bathroom towels are white and clean and are delivered and washed outside. Toiletries are all available. 6. We changed the ticket and delayed check-out for half a day, which was handled very satisfactorily. 7. Refrigerator and washing machine were provided. 8. Kitchen utensils require a deposit before they can be used. This is a bad habit in China. There is no dishwasher. It is recommended that you use it sparingly in the future, otherwise there will be an odor. 9. The air conditioning works very well. The balcony door has a very unique handle. It can be opened and closed freely when it is turned to the 90-degree horizontal position. It will automatically lock after being released, which is safe and convenient. 10 The most satisfying thing is that after taking the room card out of the room, the air conditioning, water and electricity will not be cut off, it is very user-friendly. The housekeeper can add WeChat, and if there is any problem, he will handle it remotely via video on site. It is very modern.

This was our first stay at the fairmont. The lobby interior is beautiful and staff seemed polite. The room itself was spacious, but the biggest issue we had was the terrible smell in our room. It smelled like a mix of wet dog and smelly feet. We told the staff about it when they came to our room to ask if everything was ok. They said they'd bring an air filter machine to the room but it never appeared. We searched for a while to find the smell source, but couldn't find it. The next day my daughter bumped into the wooden coffee table and moved it slightly. We finally discovered where the smell was coming from. There was a huge rotting stain on the rug under the coffee table and the smell was rancid. The manager came by on the second day before we checked out and apologised. He refunded some of our money and gave the girls a toy. Apart from the smelly room, the stone stairs were a safety hazard for our toddler. Other than the room smell, everything else seemed pretty good. Staff were polite and the food was pretty good. I personally wouldn't stay there again, but I'd recommend it for people whose kids aren't so small.

Facilities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The hotel has been open for a relatively short time, and the facilities in the room are much newer than those in Yalong Bay, which are often more than 5 years old. Children's play area, swimming pool, etc. are very complete, a restrained and comprehensive hotel Sanitation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐The constant temperature pool room is probably open-air and beautiful, but there are too many sand and stones inside. Environment: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐It does not face the sea directly, but it focuses on a quiet beauty. The flow of people is moderate and not crowded Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The check-in procedure is efficient. The doorman jogs all the way to take the luggage and is more professional than MGM. The preparation is sufficient. Breakfast: The location is behind the logo at the check-in entrance of the lobby. The hotel is too big and it took a long time to find it for the first time. There are rich categories. It feels comfortable to eat at 8 o'clock without crowds.

I recently celebrated my birthday weekend at this incredible hotel, and my stay was truly unforgettable. A huge thank you to Nikki, who made my experience seamless from start to finish. From pre-arrival arrangements to booking external activities, her exceptional service was impressive. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a diverse range of delicious options. The hotel's location is ideal, situated near a mall and numerous activities, including a helicopter experience and dinner in the sky. The ambiance is serene and relaxing, with on-site restaurants, a spa, and beautifully equipped rooms. This hotel is perfect for families, with a variety of kid-friendly options and entertainment. The evening fire show is a lovely touch. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique, relaxing, and memorable experience. Its exceptional ambiance and top-notch service make it an ideal choice for any special occasion.

This B&B is very good. The two ladies at the front desk are very friendly. After checking in, they took us to the room. We were not worried about not finding the room. The service attitude is really good. The environment in the community is very beautiful. The greenery is perfect. There is a large terrace in the room. The hall is very large and you can cook. In general, it is really good. I will come again next time. Haha

TLDR: Had really high expectations when I booked this 5 diamond hotel, however the stay experience fell short from the expectations. The Good: + Was offered room upgrade to sea view room during checked in. + Interior and exterior design of the hotel is really sets a relaxing tone to the entire stay. + It was a nice touch having Bellboys to help us with luggage and open doors whenever we arrive at the hotel lobby + Staffs and cleaners greeted us was also a nice touch + Breakfast options are extensive (including fresh juice bar and daily special juice concoction) + Free hotel activities to do daily + Gym is well maintained and a good number of machines The Bad - (Presales) Didn’t appreciate the fact that the booking page didn’t state the hotel deposit amount (which is slightly more than 1 time the hotel room price) and was only mentioned during check-in. Prior the trip, I tried to ask about whether there’s any hotel deposit via Trip.com message to hotel function and there’s no reply at all. (I mean a 3 diamond star hotel I stayed previous replied… but a 5 diamond star hotel didn’t). - (Not controllable) Sadly, there’s construction going on and can see cranes and construction machinery hindering the view of the sea, as well as the noises. - There’s supposedly a butler assigned to each guest, but my butler only added me on WeChat several hours after checkin. Also, was asking the butler about one of the afternoon hotel was still going on as we reached the venue and there’s no one around. He said he will check and then no reply for 20mins before I messaged him to inform that we won’t be waiting anymore. Didn’t appreciate that there’s no follow up. - The shower control knob will suddenly fall off at certain angle which can be rather dangerous given that it has quite a weight to it. - The bathtub’s shower head keeps leaking when we turned the other tap on to fill the bathtub, and we had to put the shower head into the bathtub to prevent flooding. All in all, it fell short on expectations in terms of the service compared to the service my partner and I had experienced in a 3 diamond star hotel at a fraction of this hotel’s price. Nonetheless, it is really a gorgeous place to stay in. Tastefully decorated and smell really great. Most of the staffs are friendly.

Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay Some few keys I’d like to pinpoint during my stay in this resort. We were staying for 5 nights, from June 1st to 8th. CLEANLINESS I’m very surprised with the cleanliness in the room and surrounding areas. Walking through the lobby, garden areas, pool areas and of course the room. You’ll be able to see gardeners, housekeepers, and cleaners doing everything to clean the their areas. This resort is spotless. Five stars for that. LOCATION Location is quite far from downtown but enough to go shopping around 68 market/mall. The hotel is connected to the mall where you can find and dine local restaurants. It is good when you’re trying to avoid the pricy meal at the resort. (Go local, get cheaper) And yes, location from the airport is about 35-45 minutes away. No traffic on the way. But try to avoid some local drivers who’s trying to give you a cheaper price to send you to the hotel. Always check the price on Didi or other app. When using those apps there will be no compromise. SERVICE Service. Well, overall it was great! Starting from reception, we were greeted during the arrival with the help of our luggage and stuff and guided us through the lobby. The receptionist attended us during check-in was very attentive and helpful (I didn’t get a chance to check her name). She was very helpful, and even gave us a tour through the map and sent us to the lift to our room. The young man and young lady at the housekeeping dept. was always ready to help us with what we needed in the room and prepared a honeymoon decoration in the room on the first day with complementary champagne and a fruit basket (Downside: some are telling to give them five stars) but I totally understand as it helps them as well. Restaurant staff are relatively friendly and helpful. Very welcoming when you coming for breakfast and guide us to our seats. BUT, you’ll need to come earlier than 9. Otherwise, you’ll be lining up outside the restaurant waiting for the vacant seat. AMENITIES Amenities are well cleaned and new. Showers and tub are quite new and well maintained. Other things in the resort are basically great. Swimming at the beach is on your own risk. No lifeguard assigned to watch as it is a public beach. Basically it’s not allowed to go swimming. Haitang bay resorts are all the same. If you’re looking for a resort where you can swim, you need to find somewhere else such as Yalong bay or Wuzhizhou Island. Overall stay was great. Just bear in mind, if you’re looking for a hotel or resort for fun this resort is not for you. But if you’re looking for a relaxation and calm holiday this resort is for you. There are only few entertainment and experience you can have in the resort such as live music during barbecue dinner at the Grand Cafe, dinner in the sky, and show outside the restaurant.

We had a great stay in Sheraton. Staff were very cooperative especially Olivia at the front desk. She guided me for everything. Resort has many swimming pools of different depths. Environment was like a home. Room was very beautiful without any smell. Breakfast was very delicious. Few things which annoyed us was the long queue to wait for breakfast outside the feast restaurant and no air conditioner in the Lobby. It was too hot and humid in the lobby and it was too difficult to sit there for few minutes. Over all our stay was good and we will go there again.
