Hotels near Guojianglong Chain Bridge in Sanya

The hotel was beyond our expectations. Such great time I spent with my GF. The service , view and crew was great. I had my birthday party there and really enjoyed. I would sincerely thank Mr Hunt who provided everything we needed for the birthday and he was such a great man. Everyone must give this hotel a try

I booked the hotel for my 3 days holiday. I would say this was a memorable experience for me at MGM. It has a great location at Yalong Bay, with just a few minutes walk to the beach. The outdoor of the hotel looks like a waterworld park, with a lot of swimming & sunbathing places, and even a small water playground for kids. I enjoyed the surf experience in the hotel. Room was very clean, and tidy, and up to standard. We were staying in the lagoon room, with a swimming pool in the front. The pool water was very clean. The breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of both Western and Chinese foods. Staff were super nice and really helpful especially Jelly Shen, who ensured a smooth transition of our room. She provided the flexibility and arranged different outdoor activities for us since we are not good in mandarin, and also provided sightseeing advices within the area. In these 3 days, she was more like a friend of us, provided exceptional support for our need. This was one of our best travel experience we had ever. I would highly recommended to stay here for those who like water activities or with kids.

The hotel is a little dated and you can tell it used to be nice and modern. The rooms could use an update or a little “zhuzh”though. The amenities are good and the grounds are well kept. The staff is also amazing and were helpful whenever I had problems. I do get you’re paying for the Marriott brand but compared to other Marriott owned hotels, this hotel is just ok. A bit underwhelming and overpriced. Breakfast was good with a variety of options from Western to Chinese. The restaurant also had tasty, flavourful food I tried for dinner. Big up to this . I was upgraded to the pool access room which was nice, I had escaped cold Shanghai for a warmer place, ended up not swimming because the pool was a little cold. Wish it was heated( maybe the kiddy pool was). Sanya was unfortunately gloomy and cold so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the ocean. Overall the stay was just okay. Nice if you want easy access to a beach you can actually swim in.

I have had a short stay for 3days but what impressed me the most were the very friendly and professional staffs. They took the initiative to move things around so even when I arrived early, they were able to settle me in ahead of schedule. We connected thru the stay over WeChat and they answered all my questions very quickly on matters of hotel amenities, room services, and places around the area. Overall a great place to be when you visit Sanya.

Firstly the concierge at the front desk was easy to contact before arriving at the hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so I asked them to plan ahead whatever they could and they prepared some cake and a romantic bed setup. The front desk clerk was available at most times during the day if we had any questions or requests. The selected villa room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service did a good job daily and they were very understanding. The hotels facilities are pretty great. All maintained well. The location of the hotel is superb for yalong bay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The breakfasts weren’t bad either, and the breakfast time was up until 12:00 which is amazing. This was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sanya for leisure.

The hotel is beautiful and our room was pretty big. But the thing that we still can’t understand is deposit. We stayed for 6 nights and deposit should have been 6000rmb. That’s insane. What if i stay for 20 nights???? I gave only 2000 coz my alipay was empty. And it takes time to change money coz i m a foreigner. Do smth with deposits!!!

Had the best stay this resort. The room was amazing, bed a bit hard but not a train smash. My room had a great view. I was glad to find food I could eat during breakfast and thanks for being accommodating to foreigners palette. (Breakfast caters for foreigners). The gentleman who helped at the reception was amazing and spoke English. The resort itself is beautiful, great for a morning walk. And it’s close to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest, perfect location.

From the moment we arrived at 01.30am, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Thomas, the night concierge, went beyond the call of duty in ensuring our needs were catered for, so 5 stars for him! The hotel is the last hotel in the row, so a little quieter on the beach at peak season, which we were grateful for, and we were so happy to be right on the beautiful, clean beach. The hotel also has large, attractively designed swimming pools, which were well maintained. We were a bit disappointed by the quality of food at the barbecue buffet, which was not good - however, it was just a short taxi ride to some really good Chinese restaurants. There is also a beach road next to the hotel selling delicious street food. All in all, highly recommended- we will definitely return!!

We booked and paid for a 2-Bedroom Duplex Elegant Pool Villa and did not get it. No-one explained this. The option that was given to us was not too bad, but still I did not get what I pain for. Also, I was told that my deposit would be refunded the same day as checkout but still nothing has been paid into my account.

Wonderful vacation at the Horizon hotel! This is the best hotel from those where we have stayed in Sanya ! Very convenient location, the amazing sea and the beach. Very good breakfasts! Clean! Very attentive and polite staff! We are very grateful to Mr. William, who helped us all the time from the first day of our vacation until our departure! Experienced, polite, caring, with good English! The best feedback! The territory of the hotel is very large! Great pools, restaurants, various activities for children and many beautiful places to take pictures! Next time we won't even look for another one. We will definitely come back here! Thank you!
