When we 1st arrived the drop off point was great just outside of the hotel it is approx an hour and 10 minutes on the coach. My room had two single beds pushed together so you could get down the sides to get in. The bed had plastic cover under the sheet it drove me nuts as it needed straightening out everytime you turned over. TV up above wardrobe on a bracket very small and only had 1 English channel BBC news, watched it whilst getting ready for dinner. I had a balcony, it faced the balconies opposite but I did get sunshine in the afternoon early evening which was lovely. You could not use the pool area before 10 a.m and as this is the hotels only outside space it was frustrating. The building has 4 or 5 floors so a lot of guests, so to find there is only room for 25 sun beds 12 chairs and 3 small tables in the pool area was never going to please most of their guests, Very little space between them and edge of pool . I had my own pool towel although they show photo of towels by the pool. The activity area is a hall with seating, meant to be used for activities but basically used as a walk through from reception to the bar. The bar had a window opening onto the pool area this was the All inclusive ”Snack bar,” i was offered sandwiches in a cardboard box I asked if we had pizza they said yes 8 euro so not much of a snack bar. The ”Cafe” was a coffee machine on a table in the hall. Someone mentioned the beach is opposite the hotel giving the impression you can see it, it is only a few minutes away but to get to the beach you need to cross the road under the train subway and then go down between the buildings to arrive at a lovely sandy beach, hiring 2 chairs and an umbrella is 21 euros. Food was very much the same every day with additional bit of chicken or fish added but there is something for everyone as there are loads of restaurants near by. Restaurant open anything from 5 to 15 minutes late every day, so recommend go down a few minutes late so you are not queued on the stairway going down to the restaurant and across the hall each meal time. As i was leaving the hotel very early I asked for a wake up call at 5 a.m they set the call for 4 a.m, not impressed. As I was inclusive they were going to leave me a breakfast bag but that didn't happen either. Staff were nice and polite.

I read so many bad reviews after I had booked and I was terrified but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Cons: Yes room furniture and deco very very very dated. Broken shelves in the wardrobe, loose handles on the bed side lockers, horrible looking yellow curtains. Smell throughout of the hallways and rooms of dusty old musky smell. No washing line to hang out washing or towels. I’m a heavy sleeper but the noise from the surrounding ***** and the noise of the train line right on the door step was a bit too much when you want to unwind and relax. Music and trains didn’t stop until about 00:30- 1am Only spainish channels on the tv and no smart tv to connect your own devices. Definitely is misleading as a 4 star hotel and probably people wouldn’t be as disappointed if it was a 2 star considering standards of the rooms. Bread rolls were always hard. Pros: Location is right on the beach, it’s a 10min walk to the train station to Barcelona and only €11 return. There’s a box office across the road from the train station that sells tickets so if there’s a big que at the train station you can also buy them there and it’s much faster. Staff are very nice and friendly. Food was good. Always replenished and loads of choices, there was a lot of fish options but it was very good, in general it was hot but yes sometimes things that didn’t need to be replenished as fast might have gone warm but there was microwaves if you wished to heat anything up. Rooms are cleaned every day if you wish, cleaners working so hard all day. Sun beds on the beach only €3 if you’re staying in this hotel and €7 for those who are not. Overall: We had a lovely time, it was such good value for money because for us it was a cheap last minute getaway so it suited us. The dated rooms and the noise was a big let down but we got over that and didn’t let anything ruin our holiday and we were happy that we did enjoy the food and the location and our overall stay. Would I stay again? Yes (but only if I was looking for a cheapy get away for a few days not a 4 star stay)

The best thing about going away from home is not having to worry about where you are staying and I was not dissapointed at all. The hotel is just as it is in the photos. Clean, plush and welcoming. We arrived late at night (20/10/23) after waiting 2 hours for our transfer then the travel from Barcelona to the hotel we were tired but welcomed by the wonderful night staff member I think his name was Thorko. He offered us something to eat and explained the hotel facilities. The pool is cold but once you get in its ok and it was fun seeing the look on peoples faces as they got in lol it was a conversation starter. The hotel is located on the beach and near the train station I actually think its the best part of the ***** 5 minutes from Aloha that does the best cocktails and night vibes. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast well I'm missing the breakfast 😀 cava with your freshly made omlette or pancakes, the fruit shots were delicious and how do they make mushrooms taste so good. Best bit was there were no kids!! I would definitely stay here again.

Very mixed feelings about this hotel. The good points The hotel it's self is very nice and spotlessly clean the rooms are a good size with great views of santa susanna and the beach, loved the lobby area with the table service and bar the staff where always very attentive with a smile, the pool is great it's got a great sized pool. The bad points One of the biggest things for me being a none smoker is having to constantly walk past people smoking outside the back door leading to the pool area nearly every time I walked out the door there was at least 2 or 3 people smoking sometimes a group of maybe 10 or 15 in the evening it's discusting there needs to be a smoking area away from the main areas or entrances. Santa susanna it's self is very nice but we found it to very quite too quite in fact there was no entertainment anywhere the entertainment in the hotel wax very poor. The room keys we was constantly having to go the reception due the card keys not working (they was nowhere near our phones). The food breakfast that was included was very nice, the Mexican restaurant called la pergola wow I've never had a food like that it was disgusting I ordered fajitas I expected fajitas but what I got was more like a chicken stew it was the worst Mexican food I've ever had, the pizzas are frozen so after that we never ate there again. If you want a relaxing holiday in a nice hotel with no entertainment it's great book but if you're under there age of 65 and like a bit of entertainment at night this is not the place for you it felt like sometimes without being rude we was in a retirement home with the age of the guests.

Impressionant! The best hotel in the area without any doubt. Infinity of food possibilities. Various food styles both inside the hotel and just in front and of very quality. The hotel has five swimming pools, with server drinking facilities, baleine bed, animation, etc. In the night, be able to drink a cocktail with live music is a joke (and if you don't want, from the room you don't hear anything). We will certainly return.
