The bad news is that there is no hot water or pool. However, everything else is wonderful, if you're not expecting luxury accommodations. The rooms are basic, with an outdoor bathroom and cold shower, there are gaps in the wall and above the door, however, there's a mosquito net over the bed. The bed is very comfortable, the fan works well and there's no need for ac at night. This place is a gem for anyone looking to relax, perhaps after trekking the nearby Lost City. The beach is beautiful, the chairs and hammocks are comfortable, it's very quiet and the food is excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful and available when you need them. Avay, our waiter and go to contact, was a joy to deal with and his smile and kind words always made the day a little brighter. If you're looking for 5 star this isn't the place for you, if you're looking for a true taste of Colombia, excellent food, beautiful beach, good people, and a place to chill, Playa Bonita is definitely for you.

A place with a lot of potential, the attention from the staff was good although it is not a standard, some delay in taking orders, the bar is wasted because there is no one serving constantly and the cocktails are worth it. Beautiful cabins, pleasant spaces, the perfect place to rest.

We had our wedding in one of the hotels next door, but we hired the entire Playa Bonita hotel for our parents and closest family and we were truly delighted. Samantha was super hospitable, good people, understanding. The hotel is very nice, the pool makes it very pleasant. The rooms are nice, spacious. And not to mention the food and the bar, delicious! Thank you very much for your attention. We will definitely return.
