Innside Tenerife Santa Cruz

The place is awesome. Room is clean, spacious and well equipped with necessities. Location is superb, close to lots attractions. In walkable distance to a lot of famous places. Pool seems cool too.

Good modern hotel with nice breakfast. It is in the heart of the city. Unfortunately, we had a bad start. We booked over the Melia App. The application will kick out the baby once you select the hotel. We didn't notice this in the booking process. When we arrived they told us that our room is not suitable for a baby. They had to move us and asked for an additional charge ( even though we are part of their loyalty program). Next day we asked for a baby bed which was denied. Our room is not suitable for a baby bed. Later it was added to the room. Their restaurant was the only one in Tenerife and la Gomera on our trip that never offered us a baby chair. We asked the restaurant for a boiled egg for the baby but they denied and told us they can only do fried eggs and tortilla. At the pool we asked for a sunshade umbrella witch was denied due to wind (no wind at all) from their stuff which was sitting under an open umbrella:). All in all, a good hotel for business trip. Would definitely not come back here with a child.

This hotel is right in the centre of Santa Cruz near the El Pilar underground car park and the pedestrianised shopping street El Castillo. We went up to the city from south Tenerife to see the Xmas lights which were amazing right outside our hotel and a short walk to Plaza Candelaria. We didn't take our passports which was a problem due to the new police regulations regarding hotel stays. However the receptionist Stephanie was amazing allowing us time and assisting us to complete check in by using photos of the passports held on our devices. The rooms can only be described as new and clean, not huge but ample for a nights stay. Great shower, beds comfortable, nice balcony, tea and coffee tray. Great breakfast and nice restaurant area although we didn't try the evening meal. I would certainly stay here again.

Clean, quite new, centric, smells nice, decor, lighting, and tech-prepared. Most staff were friendly and smiley. Noisy in interior from other guests, hallway to rooms too echoey, and room door quite poorly insulated and noise canceling as you can see from the hallway light that came through (hence, the noise also). Also, even though as of recently, most hotels have a 13:00, 14:00, or 15:00 checkin time (totally disagree with this) usually if you're an early arrival 12:00 there is no issue with you getting your key. In this case, it wasn't that way and no effort was actually made by the receptionist to even try to fool me into believing that no rooms were yet available. She stuck to the hotel policy and even repeated it a couple of times. Thing is, I worked in the hotel industry for a couple of decades.
