First impression entering the hotel; lack of the typical Hilton scent, and overall 5 star appearance. The lobby has several stands promoting things I can’t tell what is was in Chinese. This is typical in many Chinese hotels but it lacks the 5 star ambiance. Furthermore, near the lobby bar is a nice dessert cabinet filled with Pepsi and mineral water….why? and next to the entrance some ridiculous game boxes that makes no sense. The room was ok, good size and no issues, good cleaning. The pool was ok too but with a small and rather boring gym next door. The dinner buffet was good and for the price which included free flow of a SA mediocre red wine and beer nothing much to complaint about. The poorest part was breakfast and that was depressing, especially for someone expecting a bit of western and Hilton quality, bread selection poor. It’s ok to have a limited selection but at least make the limited selection good and fresh og the day, don’t serve 2 days old bread, that is unacceptable.

When driving up the mountain, the car needs to be parked in the parking lot (the tram charging pile only has slow charging). The hotel shuttle bus will take you to the front desk, room, restaurant and Yulian Waterfall (the north gate of the scenic spot is within the hotel). The service staff are enthusiastic and professional. The response time is very fast. The room is clean and sanitary, with complete and smart facilities. The floor-to-ceiling windows are great for viewing the mountain views. The restaurant's warm winter set menu tastes very good and is very cost-effective. Of course, the price is a bit more expensive than the surrounding Yuhong and Yutai. But it's cheaper than the nearby Hampton by Hilton. Check-in experience: Lobby: It has a bit of a historical feel, but it's okay, clean and spacious. Room: It feels okay because it has been renovated. There are welcome fruits and handwritten check-in cards on the table, which feels good. The check-in experience is that the room comes with a shoe shine cloth, which travelers really need. Then the TV may really be just a decoration, it can be turned on but the remote control cannot control it. Breakfast: 75 points, not bad. The fruits are relatively fresh, the dishes are quite satisfactory, and the categories are okay. Service: The overall service attitude is pretty good. I hope the electronic invoice limit can be increased, but this time I can only issue paper invoices. Overall, I will go to Yushan again and consider staying here again. I stayed 4 nights and the best thing of this hotel is the location: on top of Sanqingshan, next to the Waishuangxi Cableway (literally 5 min walking from the exit). From here I could wake up early in the mornings and have long days to slowly explore the entire mountain and appreciate every single area, and relax in the evenings just sitting in front of the hotel (beautiful view along the valley). Second best thing of this hotel is the owner, very helpful for anything I needed, and even with my little Chinese he managed very well everything I asked, and also his wife with her nice breakfasts, so service was good. Facilities are also good, considering that it is on top of the mountain and the price paid. I would definitely back to this hotel in other seasons to enjoy Sanqingshan!

My first experience with a camping tent was much better than I imagined. The tent is relatively new and very large, enough to sleep a family of three. My first experience with a camping tent was much better than I imagined. The tent is relatively new and very large, enough to sleep a family of three. The quilt doesn't look old, but because the weather in the south is too humid, moisture condensation at night will inevitably cause mold spots on the quilt. There weren't many bugs. It may not be cold when you first fall asleep, but as the temperature drops, the humidity increases, and water vapor condenses, it will get colder and colder, so you need to cover yourself with a sleeping bag/quilt. Be prepared in advance. In addition, you can put a bag between the headrest and the tent cloth to separate it, otherwise the tent cloth will slowly condense water vapor and make your hair wet. 4. I stayed 4 nights and the best thing of this hotel is the location: on top of Sanqingshan, next to the Waishuangxi Cableway (literally 5 min walking from the exit). From here I could wake up early in the mornings and have long days to slowly explore the entire mountain and appreciate every single area, and relax in the evenings just sitting in front of the hotel (beautiful view along the valley). Second best thing of this hotel is the owner, very helpful for anything I needed, and even with my little Chinese he managed very well everything I asked, and also his wife with her nice breakfasts, so service was good. Facilities are also good, considering that it is on top of the mountain and the price paid. I would definitely back to this hotel in other seasons to enjoy Sanqingshan!

The room is clean, tidy and has a strong sense of design. 2. The shampoo and body wash are all from foreign brands. The body wash smells good and facial cleanser is also provided. 3. The toilet is smart. It feels so happy to sit on a hot toilet seat in cold weather. 4. There is a bathtub for taking a bath, but I didn’t use it. 5. The bedding is made of cotton and linen, very similar to the MUJI I bought at home. The mattress is very soft and the pillows are high-rebound. I slept very well. 6. With floor heating, you are not afraid of the cold in autumn and winter. You can sit by the bed and make tea. 📍Location: Next to Sanqing Palace, to watch the sunset go to the nearby Purple Smoke Stone (5 minutes walk) for a beautiful sunset. You can also see the Purple Smoke Stone at sunrise, but it's a bit inferior to the sunset. You can also go to nearby sunrise viewing spots to see it. It’s also great to watch the stars at night. There is no light pollution and the starry sky is very beautiful. There are many photos you can take with your mobile phone. 🗺️Route: 1. When going up the mountain, take the Jinsha Cableway up the mountain and walk in the direction of Sanqing Palace. It takes more than 2 hours to walk quickly and more than 3 hours slowly. Along the way, you can see classic attractions such as the Oriental Goddess and the Giant Python emerging from the mountain. There are few steps and many plank roads, making it easy to walk. 🥰Especially the road from Yusonglin to Sanqing Palace. There are no people around after 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The view is wide and very beautiful! It's my favorite stretch of road. 2. When going down the mountain from the Shuangxi Cableway, there are stairs all the way and there are few trails. It made me doubt my life. If you want to go up the mountain, choose the Jinsha Cableway. 🍲Catering: 1. Because everything on the mountain is lifted manually, the price is a bit more expensive, but the food is delicious. You can dine in the hotel, including noodles, stir-fries, set meals and hot pot. The last picture is the dinner I ordered, it was delicious! 2. The room I booked includes breakfast, including porridge, eggs, steamed buns and side dishes. A good breakfast will make you energetic for a day of hiking.
