There is a small river in front of the hotel, which is a rare highlight in the desert. It is also very close to the main street, so it is convenient to go there. There is a small swimming pool in the public area, which is good for taking a dip during the dry heat during the day. The hotel has wifi, but the signal is relatively weak. The wifi got worse two days after checking in. However, this should be expected when you come to a city like this, so tell yourself not to affect your mood! The room equipment is relatively simple and desert, so you can't force it. The front desk and service staff basically don't understand English, so you need to be patient when communicating. The hotel manager was very helpful and helped us order bus tickets to the airport even though he was busy! Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

This hotel is run by people who have never been to any other hotel it seems. Payment is upfront, even though booking was covered by credit card. Even worse: the owner tried to scam us by trying to add an extra 'local tax' of 19% to the rates they offered via *********** It was only after us having to call *********** he came back to say that 'he was mistaken and we would not have to pay the extra 19% on top. Unfortunately his memory is very short as we noticed that guests coming after us were again charged an extra 19%. So this was certainly not an honest mistake! Beware of this if you decide to go there. The rooms are spartan, no heating, no TV, empty fridge, no water and no amenities to speak of. At night this means the room is very cold and the only option is to take a warm shower and hit the bed. Blankets and bed are good. Breakfast: 1 slice of cheese, 1 slice of salami and some sugary paste are put on your table. The fresh fruit and the eggs were excellent. We found it weird that the breakfast only starts at 8am, while most tours for Atacama desert leave from there between 7am and 8am. They prepared a small bag for us, but still... It would make a lot more sense to change these opening hours. Wifi is very spotty at best. Knowledge of English is non-existent, so brush up on your Spanish. All in all, bad service, not really friendly and below all standards for the rates you pay. And trying to scam us really soured the entire mood from the start.

We booked this hotel through a package and we were extremely pleased. The hotel is reached by crossing a small bridge over a canal after entering the property. The hotel is decorated with many indigenous pieces and has a courtyard with shady spaces set aside for relaxing and a small pool for cooling off. The rooms are nice and spacious and all have a refrigerator for placing water and snacks in. Yes it is rustic but it is clean and comfortable. By far the best part were the wonderful people working there. Our Spanish is very limited but we used google translate and had no problems. The kind gentleman allowed us to check in early as we had arrived from the airport a few hours prior to check in but had a tour booked for the afternoon. The breakfast was simple but healthy and plentiful. Each day we were asked if we wanted eggs. The hotel was always willing to help us in any way. They pointed out the area for us to change money and the store right across the street where we were able to stock up on water. Everyone was so helpful. We had a very positive experience here. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

Hotel with a great location, very close to the main street, allowing you to do everything on foot. Friendly service and everyone is friendly. Easy communication in Portuguese. It has a good breakfast (breads, scrambled eggs, strained coffee, fruits...) and when we left earlier due to the tours, they left a kit with snacks the day before. Always available at reception coffee and tea too. Spacious rooms, with fridge, liquid soap and shampoo too.

An incredible place, cozy, good attention from the staff, especially from Jhony who was the one who received us. A very nice place to rest, comfortable and clean room. Committed to well-being. I would return a thousand times to this pleasant and relaxing place! Your garden is beautiful and very well set!

The hotel is very charming, I was with a child and the outdoor area is great for relaxing, it has a pool. Perfect location, very good breakfast. They prepare a snack for you if you have a tour the next day early. I just suggest changing this snack more, the 2 days we needed this snack it was exactly the same. The room does not have a TV but I think it is common in the city. The fridge was not freezing, but as we stayed for a short time, we didn't complain. The staff are very polite and attentive. I also suggest reviewing the floor of the room, which is very cold. The beds were very comfortable and had plenty of warm blankets, important considering how cold the city is. Highly recommend.

Hotel has an average structure even for the location, the staff are polite, but the cleanliness of the room leaves something to be desired. The room is only cleaned in places that the eye can reach. I stayed in room 7 for 6 days and the dirt under the bed and on top of the closet was huge. The dirt in the closet, on the 4th day, I cleaned it myself.

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights in this hotel and from the moment we arrived the attention was excellent, in addition to the hotel being very nice. They offer you help with information about places to eat, they recommend agencies for tours, there is always hot water and coffee or tea or herbal waters available. The rooms are very fresh, and very clean, good beds. Although the pool is small, it is still useful for cooling off and spending a pleasant moment in the hotel patio since it is very beautifully decorated. The breakfast is delicious, and they make scrambled eggs for you on the spot. If you have early tours and cannot have breakfast, you can request a takeaway snack. Special mention for Carlitos at the reception, he was a 7 with a kindness and warmth of another level. I 1000% recommend this hotel, it is also close to the main street and in 5 minutes you are in San Pedro and Caracoles squares.
