Hotel Best Cap Salou

Hotel recommended for families, swimming pool with slides where the little ones can entertain themselves and have a good time, spacious rooms with mini fridge and balcony, daily cleaning. Renovated hotel next to a small cove with direct access from the hotel. safety and hygiene (mask), acceptable dining room, I only had breakfast, little evening entertainment but during the day they have activities for the little ones and aquagym for the older ones I liked the location surrounded by greenery and away from the bustle of Salou, you can park In the surroundings there are quite a few shops nearby, mainly French tourists in conclusion better than expected after having read some comments.

I have just come back from a 4 night stay and there is not one bad thing I can say about the hotel. We travelled as a family of five and stayed in two different rooms that had a connecting door which was a great surprise as we were not expecting to even be beside each other! We had breakfast included and it was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had, there were so many hot and cold options and everything was constantly being refilled. It is a really organised system as they seat you when you come in so you are not scrambling to try and find a table! Breakfast starts at 8 but we had an early flight so were able to go in at 7 we just had to book it at reception! We only ate pizzas and sandwiches for lunch in the hotel so can’t really comment on the food but they were absolutely delicious. The cocktails and delicious and very cheap, for two glasses of rosé and one cocktail it was €11! There is also lots of different flavours of ice cream served. There is four pools, three outdoor and one indoor. As we were here in April they were a little bit cold but were 100% bearable. The indoor one is heated. The staff are extremely friendly and a special mention to the lifeguard (unfortunately I do not know her name) who went above and beyond to help everyone around the pool and was extra kind to my nephew when she saw him wearing an Argentina jersey!! I will 100% be back to stay in Golden Port and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Salou

3rd visit to this hotel 23rd Sept - 30th Sept & in our opinion we love this hotel. Fantastic sea view rooms with decent sized balcony, room & bathroom ample size & cleaned & towels changed daily. Location great, short walk to the beach which is literally across the road & a few minutes to all bars & shops. Reception, Dinning Room & Bar staff always friendly. Good choice of foods both in restaurant & at the snack bar. We generally use the pools between the 2 hotels as quieter & yes pools are cold but very welcoming in 31 degrees. Hotel Salou II is being used for asylum seekers, this may be a bit intimidating to some travellers but they did keep themselves to themselves & you've got to think that we could be slightly intimidating to them! All in all we have had a fantastic time & will be defiantly retuning for a 4th visit.
Magnolia Hotel - Adults Only

My husband and I had a week away from Barcelona staying at this adults only hotel. The reception staff were all friendly but especially Bea who was extremely helpful with things to go and see whilst we were here as the weather was not the best. Rooms were really nice, clean and tidy, with comfortable beds, but the pillows not so comfy. Could have done with a table on the balcony too. Breakfast was a good choice with the option to order freshly cooked too and the staff were friendly and kept the place ticking over nicely. The spa was a bit of a disappointment as it only has steam room and sauna and a jacuzzi for 8 people, so we only used once and the games room was not available durin the week due to conference. Fortunately we had our own cards and dominoes. Overall a good visit to Salou, where we visited Cambrils, Tarragona, Reus and Sama Park out of tourist season. I am sure it would be buzzing come Easter onwards. Thanks to the Magnolia Team for the great overall service.

Me and My partner booked this with jet2 back in June for October. The hotel its self is lovely and prime position for a walk to the beach and markets and a lovely walk to portaventura (If you're walking to portaventura from the hotel, don't follow Google maps up towards the portaventure hotel, keep walking up the road and it's on the right down some steps) There was always plenty of food and variety when we went to eat aswel as different plates on offer every night. The evening entertainment was hit and miss some were absolutely brilliant while others not so much but still enjoyable. Even on the all inclusive the drinks and food at the outside snack and drinks bar were amazing especially their milkshakes and vodka slushies. The pool is very cold first thing in the morning but once the sun is out and high in the sky its lovely, the deep end is great for jumping in and going under the water especially after a very tiring day at portaventure its nice to relax by the pool. The only negative I have is that check-in is at 2pm and we arrived at around 11am and waited around an hour and a half for our room to be ready, thankfully they have a secure room for your baggage in the basement and gave us our all inclusive bands so we could have food and drinks while we waited. Overall I would very much recommend this hotel and would come back again.
