This location is great for walking to the stores and to the water. The building could use a bit of TLC and the front rooms can be very noisy because of outside traffic. Most of the rooms have very low beds. Breakfast was okay. The host was friendly and helpful. Not high end, but clean.

The room is spacious and bright, equipped with a mini fridge. However, the bathroom gives off a very strong sewage smell... so much so that I can hardly stay in it! Mrs. Teresa is very courteous and kind... it's a shame that the building, although in the historic center, is not well maintained (cables coming out of the walls, broken doors and windows)

We stayed 3 days in this b&b, we felt at home. It is in the center of Salerno, excellent quality/price ratio, considering the high season and (very important for animal lovers) pet friendly structure with no supplement for our beloved dog! Teresa is a volcanic and kind hostess. He makes you feel like he's known you forever! Highly recommended!!!!!

Wish I could give 10 stars! It is a wonderful little place with attention to detail and you can see that the owner puts all the love into it. It is equipped with everything you need, there is even a hair straightener!!! Perfectly located in the center in a point that allows you to park near the blue lines or possibly in some private garage nearby. The owner is an exquisite person, so nice and so kind. Too bad we stayed for so little!

When you enter Casa Castagna, Teresa welcomes you and immediately makes you feel at home. The BeB is a gem not to mention the clean smell that captivates you. Our studio apartment is really super, comfortable bed, quiet, with attention to every detail (kitchen with induction hob, fridge, microwave, plate, phone ..) perfect for moving around even for long stays such as our 5-night stay. And then there is the breakfast prepared by Teresa which is truly impeccable. Highly recommended!!!

Non ho mai visto un posto così accogliente da sentirti come a casa, strategico perché vicino alla stazione e praticamente al centro di Salerno, colazione preparata da Teresa tutto super buono!non posso fare altro che consigliarlo.
