PPatrick MackenExcellent location within walking distance from Train station, but I would recommend if you are ””walking ””to follow Google maps driving directions instructions much easier and clearer
The hotel was within walking distance of the tourist centre. Restaurants were still putting out tables at 2100 and very reasonable priced.
Great choices at the breakfast different types of, cheese, ham ,bread ,cereals and too good selection of cakes

GGuest UserBeautiful clean and modern hotel in amazing location just 100m from the Plaza. Very friendly staff and rooms cleaned every day (we forgot to put up the do not disturb sign) Great bathroom with amazing shower, beds, fridge, safe boxes, smart TV and nice decor and quality furnishings. Parking is €15 / night at a nearby parking garage. Would definitely recommend this hotel

GGuest UserRecomendable ,muy cerca del centro ,peró por nuestro gusto algunas cosas a cambiar como el desayuno que se puede mejorar bastante la calidad y surtido como poner otros quesos, que no sea sólo el de barra , productos sin gluten ,sin lactosa ,poner pavo ,leches vegetales y el café de mejor calidad ,por el resto todo bien ,la habitación limpia con unas vistas impresionantes y el personal de recepción muy amable y atento a todas tus necesidades . Todo bien.

GGuest UserGood hotel, poor restaurant and impolite staff. The room looks nice and clean. We reserved a double bed for an extra price as a room with two single beds was 10 euro cheaper. At the reception, they told us that a double bed is only 1.50m width.... so we choose then go for 2 single beds, but they would not reduce the 10 euro from the price as we had booked already via credit card. The restaurant has a daily menu that we needed to scan via a QR code. We ordered from the daily menu. I ordered the first main dish on the menu card and I got the wrong dish. I ordered fish and I got pork. When telling this to the waiter, his answer was “this is the way we serve it in Spain, maybe it is different in your country “ . He showed us the menu and seems that the menu he had was different then from the hotel webpage that we scanned via the QR code he gave us. After a long discussion they realize their mistake and gave me my fish. My wife got a main dish which was so salty that she could not eat it. I tasted it and it was disgusting. When saying this to the waiter. He did not react. So very poor service and very unprofessional staff. So if you want only to sleep, then the rooms are great for the price. If you also want to use the restaurant then it is better to find another hotel in the neighborhood of Salamanca.

GGuest UserExcellent value for money. Located on the outskirts of Salamanca, in Santa Marta de Tormes, about 10 minutes' drive from the university campus, and about 8 kilometers of urban roads. This is a fairly large hotel complex; there is also a campsite with the same property in the complex, and they share some services, such as tennis courts, gardens and swimming pools. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. There is no parking problem. Good price.

GGuest UserLet me start by saying this is the most unwelcome hotel I have ever stayed in. Tripadvisor and *********** both clearly state the Spa was open on Sunday which was a major attraction after a long day’s driving as was the highly recommended restaurant. We were informed a few days prior to arriving that the Spa was now closed and 2 days before arriving that Restaurant and Bar were also closed. By that time we were already traveling and not able to change our journey to look for another hotel. Upon arriving the hotel was shrouded in darkness, we had to offload our overnight belongings in the dark garage, we felt we were the only ones staying there, which we later found was not the case. Naturally we were quite dismayed at the prospect of no food or drink. The receptionist was extremely rude and argumentative and accused us of having a bad attitude! He recommended the golfclub café up the road, which had just some deep fried tapas on offer, which were not bad incidentally but not what we came for. We were surprised to find our room was pretty much the furthest away you could possibly get from entrance given the hotel was mostly empty. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, rock hard basically, no airconditioning and no wi-fi. After an abominable night sleep the breakfast was not filling us with joy either. All the hot food, fried/scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage at the buffet was already stone cold at 8.30! This hotel should be stripped of it’s 4 stars as I would not even give it a 1 star status. If you cannot offer the 4 star facilities and service you should not charge the prices. False pretences springs to mind. I’m sure the rude receptionist will come up with a counter argument such as “the Spa is always closed on a Sunday and is not included in the price anyway” or something along those lines but this is not what’s advertised and what the guests expect when they reserve a room at the given prices! Avoid at all cost if you are looking for a pleasant hotel experience!

GGuest UserBooked here last minute on travel through Spain. It has several options which appealed to us: family rooms with kitchenette, pets welcomes, 24 hour check-in, secure parking, walking distance to city centre. There are other options for families with small children but none/few with the above conveniences. The positives: The area is easily reachable with a drop-off in front. Underground, secure parking is right around the corner with direct elevator access to the lobby/rooms. The facilities and rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom was modern with good quality towels. Beds were comfortable. Some other reviewers complained about the distance to the old centre but frankly its 1 km! Come on! If you are using bus transport its right across the street from the bus terminal but its not a big city terminal which usually attracts ”colourful” characters. There's several eating options at the terminal. The underground parking was great in that the spaces were very large and it was secure. The negatives: As we arrived late the garage door was closed and wouldn't open automatically with the parking ticket so my wife had to get out and walk around to the lobby to ask they remotely open it. The air-con was a little noisy. The blind on our window was stuck closed so we couldn't let any daylight in, but we were just there for sleeping and bathing. The furniture is nothing special but functional.

GGuest UserSince 2013 I have been staying at this hotel during four weeks (second week of May - first week of June) a year. Since my first time here, I have felt like being at home. All personnel are very welcoming and do everything they can to help you enjoy your stay. Their offer full breakfast with great hot and cold options; and you can enjoy it while contemplating one of the most beautiful views over Plaza Mayor (main square). Furthermore, location is unbeatable. Overall, I love staying here year after year; I already consider them part of my extended family!

GGuest UserWe stayed 3 couples from 31/10 to 1/11 because we were overlooking. We loved staff attention and cleaning of the rooms. All was very good. A quite rustic and vintage site.By putting a stick was insonorization, as it was all heard. Otherwise it is very good to spend a night passed through Salamanca. Quality-price appropriate
