Tru by Hilton St. Louis Downtown

We waited 3 hours to check in as our rooms weren’t ready and the friends we were with had to wait 4.5 hours. Our shower leaked and no one came to fix it. Our bathroom door would only close halfway. There weren’t any wash cloths or bathmats available and no one came in the 4 days we were there to touch up our room. They said “parking available “ but it was valet and $55 a day.

After hours of travel into the city we had to wait in line for an hour to check in. With no acknowledgment or apologies from the Manager or front desk staff. Also the breakfast is as extremely limited in selection of dishes and for a two night stay received no turnover service from housekeeping and had to ask for towels on the second night.

We waited over an hour to for our room pass check in time and waited an hour to even get to front desk. Tv didn’t work in room and some lights as well. But the staff was so helpful and very kind!

This was a great hotel. The building is old and historic but the rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast was very busy on the weekends and they didn’t refill everything closer to the finish time so your options were fewer. But the gym was great and so was the staff, they were all really friendly and helpful!

Parking is expensive and only one valet helping many people park and retrieve their cars wait was long . no closet, only 1 chair at desk no other spaces to sit and relax other than bed
