We stay at this hotel every year for my daughter's birthday as we go to the Stl. Blues game. When we arrived this time, the hotel was very empty and only saw one staff. It took a while to get checked in even though we had reserved online.
When we got to the room, it was 89 degrees and very warm in the room. We turned to air on and left for the game but called and asked if we could get a fan or someone to look at the air. A young girl answered and said they didn't have any fans but she would check on the air. When we returned 5 hours later, the room was at 87 and still very hot. We tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room didn't work so we went to the front desk and told the guy that our air still wasn't working. He sent security up to look at it, they pushed a button to turn it off then back on and said if it wasn't better in 15 minutes to let them know. The temperature didn't change in the 15 minutes so we used our cell phone to call the hotel and finally got connected to the front desk and let them know the air still wasn't working. They asked if we wanted to move to another room. We said that would be best if the air wasn't able to work. After waiting almost 45 minutes, someone came and knocked on our door and handed us a room key to the room 2 doors down. We packed up and moved rooms. That room was much cooler. It was almost 1am when we were finally able to be settled in because the room was so hot and staff were not able to assist in a timely manner.
