This was our fifth time staying here over the last 9 years, we are a family of 5 with kids 13, 12 and 5. We love this hotel primarily because the kids have such a good time. We had connecting rooms on the fifth floor 5115 and 5111 really nice with lovely pool views. The only issue with our rooms was the ants. We said to the cleaner and she used spray a few times but it made no difference. Not a major issue. Air con was great, temperature is set at 21c and it was more than sufficient. Food was nice as always but I found myself getting tired of the same things after 2 weeks. Entertainment wasn’t great this year but not a dealbreaker for us. Reception staff aren’t the friendliest, asked one lady for help booking the themed restaurants as we had 2 rooms and she wasn’t very pleasant but sorted my issue in less than 10 seconds. We booked Marineland, just under 200euro for the 5 of us, quite expensive for what it is and long journey on the bus but the kids had a great day. One thing I would recommend is a private transfer to the airport. Our bus collected us at 5.50am on our return journey, we then must have then made 10 pickups of other guests in different hotels before we set off to the airport. This resulted in travel sickness for 2 of my children and made the journey far longer than it should have. Overall a fantastic time but not sure we will return. As returning guests and having spent thousands over the years coming here a token gesture on arrival of a bottle of cava in our room would have been nice but there was nothing. We had friends arrive a few days before us who received the cava on arrival at their room so that was disappointing. Rest assured if your coming here for the first time you will have a great time.

Just back after a short stay at the Protur Safari. The complex is huge, with pools to suit all. A lively pool, two quieter pools, two smaller pools, and a splash park for the toddlers and smaller kids. The food was good. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The entertainment in the evening was abit of let down. All in all. A good short stay.

I’m not one to write a review as I take as I find but staff very rude and abrupt from less than one hour of arrival. Went to get some lunch from the restaurant as we was told we can’t check into our room until 2 (which we was fine with) so to kill some time after travelling all morning, went to get something to eat, after looking for a high chair we asked the waitress politely for one and the waiter butted in and shouted “they’re everywhere” was very taken back from the attitude and lack of customer service. Hidden costs - pool towels €10 deposit per person, if big family that’s a lot of euros to pay upfront on arrival. Petting zoo and water park €17 per adult and €7.50 per child. On the first day my toddler caught hand foot and mouth potentially from the lack of hygiene in the restaurant where the surfaces are not wiped with antibacterial spray. My toddler was very unwell the rest of the holiday. Lifts braking down all the time, obviously should be used for buggy’s, wheelchairs and elderly however mainly used by lazy majority. On day 5 my toddler then fell and split his chin open around the sun loungers, straight away went to reception to find some first aid, for the woman to be rude and unhelpful just sent us back out to the lifeguard by the pool area. Went out to the lifeguard who was clearly untrained, stuck the adhesive part of the plaster on his wound. Went back to reception because at this point I knew myself he needed more medical attention and needed stitches, spoke to a different woman about a doctor and was told they would ring an ambulance out but would cost a lot more. Walked 1 mile down the road to the private doctor which ended up costing €360 for 3 stitches. Which we later found out that there was a visiting doctor at the hotel, that we was never told about! The next day we found out from some other guests that an irresponsible drunk was doing front flips into the pool and had done exactly the same thing to his chin that morning and received all the care and help from the staff right away! Whereas an 21 month old innocent child gets brushed off for an accident! Disgusting really… Been coming to Mallorca for a long time can definitely see a shift in friendliness and attitude due to “tourists go home” I’ll be going to Greece next year won’t bother with Spain ever again. This holiday is eagerly awaited and of high cost therefore all the more reason to feel happy and welcome.

We read some negative reviews prior to our holiday which made us slightly apprehensive but once we arrived found there was no need to be. Hotel was fantastic, immaculately clean inside and out. Food was great, always fresh and plenty of choice (don’t expect Michelin star it is an all inclusive resort!) we had a 2 year old with us and was plenty to keep her busy. All the staff were friendly and honestly can’t fault it. I wouldn’t recommend for couples wanting to have a chilled holiday as there are kids everywhere but as a family it’s great. Would definitely recommend.

Our holiday to Protur Safari Park hotel was amazing. We went with 2 under 3 yrs and 4 adults, we had an adjoining room which was perfect for extended families to enjoy the holiday altogether with lounge and a balcony each. TV's were great with information about the hotel complex at hand and netflix , YouTube and all the British channels too . The rooms had microwave, fridge, kettle and basic cutlery and crockery. Air conditioning was perfect, couldn't fault a single thing about the room and bathroom. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, toilets were spotless always. All inclusive food choices were excellent, different choices every day ,no queues and plenty of choices for all the family. Endless drinks and ice lollies included too throughout the day. Pools and sunbeds not too busy at all. You can hire towels easily or just bring one each and no one would take your spot all day. I felt very safe and secure, and if a child is lost they shut down the whole hotel til they're found. Entertainment was great too.Plenty of restaurants , bars, a supermarket literally 3 mins away and lots of shops on the 10 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. Plenty for kids to do from go carts, trampolines, archery, lots of kids parks, fish to feed, petting farm, too much to mention actually. Buses to other places too. Medical facility if needed in the hotel and a brilliantly helpful pharmacy 5 mins walk away for advice and every product you'd ever need. I can't find fault in anything about our stay and would definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel to everyone of any age . Big thank you to all the staff they all seem happy in their work and do an absolutely fantastic job. Thank you Protur Safari Park for a memorable week.

I recently stayed at the Protur Safari Hotel in Sa Coma for a week, and unfortunately, the experience was well below expectations. The biggest issue was the housekeeping – our bedding wasn’t made or changed once during the entire stay, which is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The food was also a major letdown, lacking variety and quality. Even more concerning, we found hair in the food at the themed restaurants – a clear hygiene issue that should not happen anywhere, let alone in a place catering to families. The hotel does have a few positives – the location is decent, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful – but those small wins didn’t come close to making up for the overall poor service and cleanliness. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are better options in Sa Coma that offer cleaner accommodations and better value for money.

Unfortunately we have a lot to say, but none of it positive. The hotel is advertised as having a kids club as an extra. It is very obvious that is the audience from the outset and should be clear this is a kids hotel in the TUI website. Coming here as a couple in the middle of June we hoped it would have been a bit more quiet considering they should be in school but that wasn’t the case. The staff in the eating area just stand there like statues laughing to each other rather than serving or being chatty( I can understand this because it very overcrowded and busy even the moment it is opened) - However the reception staff are very helpful give you lots of info and maps to get around. be prepared for lots of headless chickens running around, screaming like you’re in a rock concert and under cooked food. We had to eat out multiple times because the food was inedible. This was very clear we weren’t just being picky when all the tables around us didn’t touch their food on their plates( I can see why the kids would cry at this) Sun beds and pool - over whelming and ridiculously busy. All the best beds are taken at silly hours of the morning and the staff do not take the towels off. We ended up using our room towels because of the deposits. Spa- reasonably priced in the sister hotel at 12 euros per person per stay. This was the only part of the holiday we enjoyed and stayed here often. Alternatives- Lots of restaurants and places to go to drink on the beach which isn’t very far but is again extremely busy and you have to pay a big fee of 18 euros per person- we bought a towel from the shop for like 5 euros each and used this instead I recommend this. Room air con barely works and looked like a panel out of a sci fi film from the 80s tempature wouldn’t go down and the shower was a pain to get to work. But overall good size room with a balcony. A lot of the time the lifts don’t tend to be working and can only hold up 2 people a time really. We had a very bad experience with TUI. They offered to change our hotel but wanted us to pay £1000 just to change for 4 days. Andreas the TUI help was helpful and tried to get things sorted for us when we addressed the complaints we were having with him. I ended up having a bit of a breakdown because this hotel was horrific and it didn’t seem like the TUI reps or TUI themselves actually cared all that much. Andreas just suggested we actually go to a travel agent’s next time (as if there’s going to be one). We were on the second floor and in one of the rooms at the back. It was quite difficult to get to and from there and was quite far away from all of the facilities. I really don’t recommend staying here at all if you’re a couple. The only good thing I can genuinely say is that the hotel grounds are well cared for and the pool bar has a great selection of drinks. The staff at the pool bar are very helpful and offer quick service, even during busier times. Lots of random charges. You do have to pay f
