Brilliant hotel, great food. Drinks were nice, staff really friendly. Excellent value for money. We loved the toasties I make urself at the pool buffet. Definitely good value and great holiday. The entertainment was ok, rooms nice. Paintwork could do with a fresh lick but no complaints overall. There’s always something different for lunch and dinner, plenty of variety, the soup was great! Live chefs, loads of choices, you can’t go wrong. Authentic French breakfast croissants! Amazing.

Avoid , totally in November, absolutely nothing to eat that was edible, a menu system for lunch and evening meals, fish so salty, burgers raw , all dire , the associated dishes were disgusting , there were absolutely no snacks anywhere , to get a drink of water was like a quest . Unless you're Spanish , preferential and racist towards anyone else, the waiters openly ignored us. There were hundreds of Spanish on the Saturday , day of arrival , they had an extensive menu , they left Sunday , as did the food. Everything was closed, the roof terrace, the bar by the street , the Jacuzzi. There is very little to do anywhere except walk . The godsend for food was a Spar in a short distance . They conned me out of £619 , disabled and claustrophobic, they stated they had ground floor rooms with disabled facilities . Wrong they didn't all were suites at an upgrade , so I had no choice . The room was very downgraded , paint peeling , cracked mirrors , worst of all the gardeners jumped over the wall at the bottom of the garden , unannounced abd tidied up I thought they were breaking in . They charged you for just about everything . Don't ever book with LOVEHOLIDAYS, they did absolutely nothing prior and after the holiday to assist and accommodate me in any way , there were NO tour reps , no one you could complain to and sort your problems out. The General Manager was there Thursday , messing around with cutting fruit in the lobby for Christmas , the only day he was there , in the bar was a small container , prawns meats and cheeses , I spoke to the barman this is a change , he stated this happened every day , welk the next day there was nothing , and every day before nothing , token gesture as the General Manager was there. Restaurants in the area exorbitant. If you do want Almeria in that area HOTEL BAHIA and nowhere else .

We arrived on Monday and it was raining at sea, but we could park at the door. It is easy to park next to the hotel, at least in May, which is when we went, there was always a place before or behind the hotel entrance, which is thankful if you have to carry several bags, etc ... We arrived before 14:00, the time to which check-in is supposed to be made, but we were allowed to enter the room with more than an hour in advance. The room was larger than expected, with kitchen and everything. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is a very good hotel, and it is a good hotel for you to have a good hotel. The hotel's pool is very cool, with a bathroom and a child area and a quite large area for adults. It also has a pool air-conditioned with quite hot water that, although it is not a wonder, gives the slope quite well if you are taking fresher days like us. The hotel itself is beautiful, it is quite clean and the attention is very pleasant. Because also put a sleeve in the room, the beds are horrible. I think they made discounts in the fabric of the towels and put towels in the beds too. It is a quiet place and the staff were luxurious, always friendly and smiles. In addition, while in the reservation they said check-out is at 10 a.m., in the hotel they told us they really leave until 12:00, so they gave us more calm to prepare things. Surely in a place I recommend and where I will return if I have the opportunity.
Hotel Best Sabinal

This is our second time at the Best Sabina, again for half term, and I will go back next year too. We went for a week all inclusive. Firstly, the hotel itself is spotless, staff are continually cleaning, whether that be in the restaurant, bar or by the pool. Rooms are clean and comfortable and all have a fridge in which is handy. Food again is fine, there is always something to eat, it’s warm, and there is a chef at the end cooking various things fresh, including wok food. There is a snack bar, where the lady cooks it all fresh to order. This is the normal stuff, chips, burgers, toasties etc etc with sandwiches and cakes. The bar is great, good measures with proper brands, again staff are friendly and quick. You can also get crisps, nuts and olives with the all inclusive which is great. You also get a selection of ice lollies and ice creams, slushes and milkshakes too. Location wise, the hotel is right on the beach and there is a promenade where you can walk to the harbour or towards the bulk of the hotels. There are a selection of shops and bars near by and a large supermarket up the road which has a good selection or spirits if you want to take them home. Thee is also a children’s entertainment area near the hotel with rides and trampolines. The only reason I have given it a 4 is because the entertainment is not my cup of tea. The entertainment staff were on it all day and can’t be faulted for children and adults. This is a very Spanish resort and so is geared towards the Spanish. But if you want a week in the sun with family that is value for money this is the hotel for you. I haven’t been in main season, so things maybe different? However I will be going again as the resort and hotel for a week in the sun is great.
Bahía Serena

POSITIVES The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and as we arrived a little early they directed us to the poolside bar to wait whilst the room was prepared. Once ready, we discovered that the room was clean and well-maintained with powerful aircon and comfy beds. The bathroom contained lots of towels and a range of free toiletries. The kitchen had a working fridge and microwave and the balcony had a terrific view of the pool and beach. The poolside bar serves a small portion of free tapas when you order a round of drinks. The price of 1 large beer or a tinto de verano with 3 soft drinks was less than £8 which is incredible. The tapas was tasty as well. There are a range of shops, cafes and bars around the hotel and beach access is literally across the path at the rear of the hotel. The pool area was clean and well-maintained and the water slide was good fun for the children. You never had to fight to get sun loungers as there was plenty of space. The restaurant (we had breakfast and evening meal included) served a wide range of foods, and the breakfast includes pancakes, cereals, continental style and pastries along with unlimited hot drinks. It was clean and the service was friendly and prompt. LESS POSITIVE This hotel is a destination for Spanish people to go on holiday, so most of what is in place does not cater to those looking for a Spanish holiday ‘for Brits’. This isn’t as much a problem for me as I love Spanish culture, but many of the staff did not speak English and the Animacion team provided all their entertainment in Spanish which might leave British children a little left out, although ours were able to join in with party dances and the late night pool party. The evening meals in the restaurant were predominantly local dishes geared heavily to seafood and the like. I’ll eat anything but my wife is a fussy eater and if you or your family like to eat nuggets and roast dinners you will not find that available here. My children found there was always one thing they would eat but weren’t spoilt for choice. The room decor is a little dated but who really cares when it’s just a base and you should be out at the beach or by the pool anyway! NEGATIVE The poolside bar does not provide any kind of snack provision such as chips and sandwiches as the tapas and drinks are served from a high end restaurant. This was disappointing as we like to enjoy a beer and some chips by the pool for our lunch. The language barrier with our waitress meant we’d asked for a menu which there was no point receiving as we couldn’t order food to be delivered poolside anyway, but she wasn’t really able to communicate this with us and we sat their waiting for an order we never could have had. But again, we should be learning to speak Spanish better! I’m not entirely sure LoveHolidays researched whether this hotel is suitable for Brits wanting the ‘Brits abroad’ experience so if you want that you’re best sticking to Salou or Benidorm. The hotel is amazing. The rooms are so spacious with lots of up-to-date mod cons like kettle flat screen tv which also has English channels which is amazing for the kids and a hairdryer. Very very clean and tidy and the rooms get cleaned every day to a very high standard. The restaurant is also very clean with great food choices to cater for even the most pick eaters like myself. The pools are a big size abit cold on the cooler days but are highly appreciated on the very hot humid days. The kids loved the slides and the entertainment especially the entertainment staff. They made the holiday for my boys always making the effort to get them involved in each day activities and allowing my boys to take part in the adult games to as my eldest is abit quite and doesn't like going to the kids clubs. Manu was the key part to my family holiday he made so much effort with my kids and myself bringing us all out of our comfort zone would definitely recommend and be returning
