A very quaint place. Decorations could all use a refresh as they looked like they were from 2005 but that didn’t impact our stay. The service was great and so was the food. We had dinner and breakfast here. All of which was delicious. The views were wonderful and you are out away from the hustle of the city which is perfect for a relaxing retreat. The fireplace in the common area was extremely nice to sit by. My husband and I played games and read in front of it both nights and enjoyed our time!

What a fabulous hotel for R & R! We spent a long weekend here with friends who live near Malaga and have sent us photos and rave descriptions of the inn for years now. Finally, we were able to join them. Even though the weather was unseasonably chilly during our stay, we enjoyed every minute of it! Our spacious and comfortable guest room had a large balcony with a breathtaking view of the valley below. Buffet breakfasts had a wide range of delicious food to start the day. Dinners out on the veranda were delightful and delicious. The food was consistently excellent. There's plenty to explore in the area, from Ronda to a scattering of White Villages to prehistoric cave paintings at Cueva de la Pileta. It's a wonderful area for cycling if you're OK with hills, and we passed lots of hikers as well. At the end of the day, we'd go back to Cortijo Salinas and read on the balcony until another fabulous dinner on the veranda. We were there for three nights, and we can't wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while on the road from Malaga to Càdiz. The staff is super nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the AC cranks most welcomely, a boon in a searing part of the country. Dinner was solid and enjoyable, especially with the quiet countryside all around us. Breakfast was fine, not grand, but it’s a small place. I would not expect a giant spread, but given the few guests, it was beyond expectations. Gorgeous views from the rooms, quiet countryside, property, and a bracing swimming pool all make it a hotel I’d return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful setting magnificent views over the man made lake , mountains and Zahara. So much to see in the area many of them with small numbers of people. Superb room and excellent food, We were able to use the Spa which just added to the whole experience.

The hotel has beautiful and well-kept facilities, but you feel very alone there. It's as if there had been an apocalypse and the hotel had been abandoned, you can't find anyone anywhere, the peace of the cemeteries. Long, dark hallways with bullfighting decoration, but it seemed that at any moment the glowing twins were going to appear. Our room was spacious and clean, the auxiliary beds should be changed, and the bathroom in winter must be very very cold. The correct breakfast, 3 types of bread, some sausage, fruit and sliced orange and 2 types of charred pastry. Dining is expensive in relation to what they offer. Special mention deserves the staff, who are very friendly and attentive to any request, the best thing about the hotel without a doubt. But we should remind the very stingy owners of the hotel that there are many unemployed people and so the receptionist will not have to serve dinner and the lady who is in charge of breakfast will not have to clean the stairs (a heaven). The toilet paper is rationed (the roll is on, my daughter had an illness at night and thank goodness we had tissues), there are no motion sensors in the hallways and you have to turn on lights even if your hands are full and forget about pieces of fruit. They should fix the furniture, the dresser was missing the handles and only the screws remained, we couldn't use the safe because it was closed when we entered. I will not come back.

The restaurant was terrible, the first dish we found a hair in the vegetables and the second dish was brought to us completely cold and it took them a long time to change it for another…the place was very nice and all, but the food left a lot to be desired.

We went with wonderwox but for €15 more we got a room with views of the mountains. The room was very spacious and very clean, we had dinner and breakfast included, dinner was a set menu without drinks included, soup and a scrambled egg all very delicious and the buffet breakfast is very rich and varied, the place is spectacular and super quiet, to relax it is the perfect place

The property is located in the middle of nowhere, calm is guaranteed. the rooms are modern and the swimming pool is very welcoming. The breakfast is of very good quality (homemade products, etc.) For the evening, dinner at the hotel on the terrace is recommended
