Breakfast is OK, it belongs to the foreign hotel's regular breakfast, because the hotel lobby is under renovation, we are free to upgrade their chain hotel about 150 meters away, the room interior with stairs, two floors, double bathroom, large bed on the upper and lower floors, suitable for Family living

The hotel is in an alley, and the two ends of the alley cross two large roads. Single rooms are very small and may have something to do with the surrounding Spanish steps (luxury street). Rome spent a total of six nights, four nights here, and two nights around the Colosseum. Hotel location is not convenient. Because of daily meals, taking the bus, the subway is a little distance (500 meters). It's more convenient and cost-effective to eat around Navona Square. The outer hotel may have larger rooms. But if it's not an in-depth tour, this hotel is just a good place to stay in Rome for 2-3 days or like shopping. Breakfast is good, the apple pie is much better than other hotels. In addition, although Rome can be completely walked, but a little deeper to explore, still take more buses to save physical strength. Attach two pictures of Caravaggio. What a wonderful little hotel in the madness of Rome. Was welcomed with such warmth from reception and arrived early but was told our room was ready which was a very pleasant surprise enabling us to start exploring the city. The rooms are lovely and big with a large wardrobe and desk, very comfortable bed and a very large bathroom. Breakfast was a great choice with a warm welcome from Adriana who was always genuinely interested on our plans for the day. All of the reception staff very extremely helpful on giving us recommendations for restaurants and bars. This hotel isn’t a boring corporate hotel but a genuine Roman family hotel and treats their guests with such warmth. It’s location is perfect so be able to walk to all of the major sights and has some great restaurants and gelato shops within seconds of the door.

We stayed in Hotel 55, Rome for 4 nights. The room for 3 was adequate. Breakfast is excellent. Service very courteous and the location tops it all. In Rome, location is the key. Every other location is walkable if you can walk for 20-30 mins. This is prime location for shopping as well.

My sister, brother-in-law, and I stayed at Hotel Manfredi in early November 2022 and we could not ask for more in a hotel. My hotel room was perfect, roomy, and comfortable; after a long day out, it was great to come ”home” (yes, I thought of it as my home in Rome). The breakfast, which we were lucky to enjoy a few mornings was delicious (it's not just a donut and coffee - I mean I am talking a full spread including eggs, tarts, cheeses, bacon, hash browns and more) so filling that we could skip lunch, which saved more money to spend on dinners. The staff was very kind and attentive to our needs. When my brother-in-law suddenly had a health issue, Roberta came to the room to make sure he was ok. He needed a doctor later and the hotel staff helped arranged for one to come to the hotel room! Made a scary time, less scary. This review is long over due. I will be returning to Rome soon, and I know Hotel Manfredi is where I want to stay. And did I mention that it is in a beautiful historic building? The wide elegant stairs are gorgeous and makes you think you are in another time. The hotel location is fantastic on Via Margutta, very near to where parts of a ”Roman Holiday” was filmed. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. I also enjoyed the Italian tradition of passeggiata after dinner every evening - I didn't gain one pound even though I was eating upwards of three gelatos a day, and a huge amount of pasta. You feel safe walking around the area because everything is still mostly open after dinner and lots of people are out strolling or eating again. The food in Rome is amazing, but I don't have to tell prospective travelers that!! Come to Rome and stay at the Hotel Manfredi! I will again soon.

I chose this hotel based on many positive reviews from many platforms. And I experienced all of the positive reviews. And for the first time I would recommend hotel to my friends and families/relatives. The two rooms were the best : the view, size and amenities. To my surprise, the minibar provided as complimentary. Breakfast : the best breakfast I ever had after more than 30 years traveling for both leisures/family and business trips in Indonesia, Asia and Europe. On top of the buffet menus, we were offered breakfast that personalised for our needs/tastes. Now, two weeks after we left the hotel, my wife and daughter keep telling me about to comeback again to Rome just because this hotel …. All the staffs were helpful and almost excellent. Keep the good work guys, as this hotel’s experiences were the oasis in many disappointments about Rome. One small note : It was a little bit difficult for me to find this hotel, and taking up two large luggage up to the hotel lobby was a little struggle

The hotel has an excellent location, located near Piazza di Spagna, very safe, within walking distance of the famous sights of Rome, there is a park on the Piazza del Popolo, walk to the top of the hill in the morning, you can see the whole view of the Vatican, you can also see the Arc de Triomphe. . . Sohel, the handsome guy at the front desk, was very enthusiastic, and there was a handsome Filipino guy who prepared breakfast and was very warm and thoughtful. . . Next time I go to Rome will stay, highly recommended

Please whatever you do, DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE! The positive reviews of this hotel are fakes, the photos posted of the hotel, are also fakes. This place is known as a scam to locals in the tourism industry as well. First of all you don't even check in at the hotel, you have to go to another property ”hotel white” to check in, so if there are any issues, you are a 10 minute walk away. The man at the front desk was incredibly rude at the checkin and immediately started arguing with me about how long we were staying...then we had to walk uphill to the actual hotel and room. When we arrived at the hotel, it was apparent that we had been had, the lock to the street on the door had been ripped completely off, the ”lobby” was dirty and shabby. Then we got to our room. The room was disgusting, the walls were filthy, the carpet had multiple large stains, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. NOTHING like the photos you see. There were missing outlets, holes in the walls, and the place was just gross We went to ask for another room, but the guy at the front desk of the other hotel started yelling at us, we did not spend anytime at this hotel and are fighting the charges. These people should be ASHAMED of themselves DO NOT STAY HERE, IT'S DANGEROUS, FILTHY AND SCAM!!!

Although not living in the main building, the environment is good. It's complicated to go in and the service is good! Not everyone is very good at English, and there are personal Asians at the front desk! well! It is still very convenient to go shopping and attractions! recommend! Would stay there again!

We were quite disappointed with our stay here. The room that we got was nothing like the nice modern rooms in the pictures. We were on the top floor in the roof space so it was really tiny and hot. Also the little rickety elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor so we had to drag our luggage up the stairs. The aircon was okay but not great in 38 degree heat. The bed was comfy enough and the bathroom had a unique design. However, the shower was tiny and had heaps of mould. The bathroom sink clogged after a day so we let the receptionist know, but nothing was ever done about it. There were ants, mosquitos and little annoying flies in the room which was gross. The location was very central which was great, although it was quite loud from street noise. The breakfast had a lot of variety and the wifi in the room was good. Unfortunately the cleanliness/maintenance of the room, the poor aircon and the size of the room really let us down, especially since the pictures looked so nice.
