One night stay, Saturday night. We arrived early and our room was ready. The receptionist was very helpful with arranging taxi, and all staff were very friendly. Room clean and had everything you need for a short stay. Good nights sleep, even though the hotel was busy, no noise at night. Great breakfast. Very happy with our stay.

Built in 1848, the restored building has individually styled en suite bedrooms with a flat-screen TV with DVD/CD player, luxury toiletries, a hairdryer and room service. Moss Lodge has a gym with cardiovascular equipment, and is a 20-minute drive from Manchester.

Located 2 minutes walk from the Tram stop, you can get directly into the centre of Manchester in 45 minutes so perfect quiet place if you are going to an event like I was. The hotel is brand new and located opposite a leisure park of shops, restaurants and a cinema. The hotel was actually spectacular for a town centre hotel, modern and bright. The rooms were very nice well kitted out with mod cons. As a hilton Honors diamond member I was not offered a free upgrade, nor a late check out after 2pm as they said the house keeping leave at 3pm. Overall it’s a nice hotel, but I would not recommend it for hilton Honors members as the benefits are very limited.
